👋 Meet the Team
Officially established in 2023, Radish Games is a husband and wife team operating out of Indianapolis, Indiana. We have successfully Kickstarted various games in the past, including Head Hauntcho, Mythic Menu, and Bark Magic: Ultimutt Edition. Our mission is to craft small games brimming with silly fun.
Ben Bertoli - Lead Game Designer - Ben is a full-time 6th grade teacher and part-time games journalist. He spends much of his free time playing board games and video games, as well as reading, writing, petting dogs, and sketching out new gameplay mechanics in his journal. He currently works as a consulting game designer for Lost in Cult, helping craft soon to be released games like Phasmophobia and World of Horror.
Bethany Bertoli - Art Director/Illustrator - Bethany is a full-time art teacher and former professional graphic designer. She enjoys drinking coffee, exploring the woods, and playing cute video games. Though mainly focused on the art side of Radish Games, Bethany is the brains behind many gameplay details and is the grand champion of naming cards, characters and abilities.
⚰️ Shipping
Shipping, especially international shipping, can be expensive! It stinks, but currently there's nothing we at Radish Games can do about it. We've done our best to predict shipping prices based on current rates and have found that a game the size and weight of Sands of Crime will ship to most locations in the continental United States for roughly $6 to $8. International shipping is predicted to be around $13 to $17 on average. Live in the Indianapolis area? We are planning to do local hand-offs for any backers that can make it to our launch event, time, date and location pending. Backers who attend will be recompensated for any shipping fees.
Be sure to locate the estimated shipping when looking over backer tiers. Please note that backers in certain countries may need to pay an additional Import Tax or Duty Fee when the game arrives ON TOP of shipping and VAT taxes collected by Kickstarter. Here are our current estimates on how much extra that may run backers in countries where our games tend to sell the best.
