Présentation de la campagne
A Journey from Deck to Die
I’ve spent the better part of almost two decades with a Tarot deck in my hands. As a reader with a collection that spans dozens of decks, I’ve always been captivated by the way the Arcana can tell a story, shift a perspective, or reveal a hidden truth.
But I’m also a gamer with a fond love of Yu-Gi-Oh and Cardcaptor Sakura.
I’m the person at the table who always plays the diviners, the card-slingers, and the fate-obsessed casters. I’ve always felt that the dice we use should be as deep as the characters we play. I wanted my rolls to feel like a reading: tangible, meaningful, and visually stunning.
The Search for the "Real" Thing
For years, I looked for dice that truly captured the essence of the Tarot. I bought the sets with the engravings. I bought the themed colors. But they always felt like a compromise. They were "inspired by" the Tarot, but the cards themselves, the heart of the practice were always missing.
As an artisan dice maker, I knew there had to be a way to bridge that gap. I didn't want a symbol on the die; I wanted the card in the die.
Solving the "Fool’s Errand"
The challenge was physical. How do you fit a legible, clear Major Arcana card inside a 20mm or 22mm d20 without ruining the balance or obscuring the numbers?
It took months of experimentation, countless failed pours, and a deep dive into how to get everything just right. I had to find the perfect balance between the thickness of the inclusion and the clarity of the resin. I wasn't just making dice, I was building miniature display cases for the icons I’ve spent years studying.
Why I Made Sealed Fate
Sealed Fate was born from a simple idea: the deck belongs inside the dice. I made these because I wanted to roll The World. I made them for the readers, the collectors, and the players who believe that every roll of the dice is flirting with destiny.
