"Ebenezer Pridewell... the name still strikes fear into your hearts. As children, you heard tales of the wicked old cleric who would rise from the dead if his name was muttered in rhyme before his crypt. Giggling, you whispered “Geezer, geezer, Ebenezer!” ran away, and hid... only to discover nothing happened. Now, years later, a new story is spreading... HE HAS RISEN. Children from the nearby town of Haddenford have been disappearing in the night. Witnesses swear skeletons have been seen carrying them beneath the moonlight into Pridewell’s ancient tomb, the frightened children screaming but no sound escaping their lips. They are still alive, held captive while Pridewell draws upon their youthful life energy to restore his unnatural existence. The locals scrambled to find the best adventurers they could, but alas... all they could find was you. Drunk... in the tavern... fighting over who was going to pay the tab. The good news is you will soon have plenty of gold as you rescue the children, plunder the crypt, and put a final end to the undead menace lurking beneath the Sematary on Graveyard Hill."

"Beneath the dreaded Devil’s Mountain, an ancient dungeon has been uncovered—its long-forgotten entrance opened for the first time in centuries. Deep within its twisting halls, the ancient seals imprisoning a powerful devil are beginning to fail, while a secret demon cult works to complete the fiend’s release. You and your stalwart band of heroes have only one night—from dusk until dawn—before the final seal is broken and the devil is free to escape the mountain. You must explore forgotten chambers, battle the horrors lurking within, uncover the secrets of the ancient prison, and find a way to stop the beast before the first light of morning... or watch as he unleashes an infernal evil upon the world. So gather your courage, ready your weapons, and prepare for your Night Mission to Devil’s Mountain!"

A Personal Note from Mark Taormino for Veterans and their Families and Friends

I'd like to take a moment to thank the brave men and women who have served our country. I've always wanted to find a meaningful way to give something back to our veterans, and I think this Kickstarter is a wonderful opportunity to do just that.

If you back this project at the $25 level or higher, you'll receive PDF downloads of these two new adventures along with my entire library of 60 additional PDF books.

Once you've received your download links, I invite you to do something special. If you have a veteran in your family, a friend who served, a neighbor, or someone else you'd like to thank that would like any of my modules to enjoy, please feel free to privately share your PDF collection with them as a gift from both you and me.

I only ask that the files not be posted publicly on websites, file-sharing services, social media, or other public platforms. This is simply my way of saying "thank you" to the men and women who have sacrificed so much in service to our nation.

Thank you for supporting Dark Wizard Games, and thank you to every veteran who has worn our country's uniform, including my grandfather who served in World War I, my father who served in World War II, and other relatives who have served in more recent conflicts over the past several decades. Your courage, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

I went to EGG CON II last year 2025 and MARICOPA CON as well as a Special Guest. Next year in 2027 I will be at EGG CON IV again as well!

Maricopa CON:

Mark Taormino is not only a "hack" OSR writer... he's also a hack actor who has over 88 IMDB credits. Here are some clips from a few projects he has been a character in since 1988...

Here he is with Eric Roberts in the upcoming movie "Dark Mode" where spoilers... Mr. Roberts kills Mark's character "Brock" after some dialog is exchanged:

Here he is recently in the vertical film "Fight For Me Mr. Bodyguard":

Here i am as the NYC Butcher in Sabrina Carpenters 2025 music video "Tears." "Tears" by Sabrina Carpenter part of her new album "Man’s Best Friend" out now! It's theme is like a Rocky Horror Picture Show vibe. You can see me briefly around 3:30 to 3:40 in the left door with my white hair, black apron and gloves and white shirt as the NYC Butcher emptying the fish bucket when she and Colman Domingo are dancing in the street alley. I play "NYC Butcher." (see photo below I am the guy with white hair emptying the fish bucket.) Originally in the audition we had dialog but in the shoot we didn't and they didn't do any coverage of us but that's ok! We're also listed in the end credits!:

Here he is a Arthur Hills recent music video "Hot Sprite" as the "old man" character:

Here he is "kicking down some knowledge" to Little Wayne in the music video Krazy:

Here is in Speedos dancing for Kesha in My Own Dance. WARNING: Men close your eyes and women... pull up a chair and whip out your magnifying glasses LOL as you are about to see a fat middle aged man sexy dancing:

Here he is in Sunny in Philadelphia:

And Ghost Adventures:

And Seinfeld as Kramer #2 In the Door:

You can see more here.
