Les joueurs doivent être capables d'identifier des formes simples intégrées dans des figures complexes. Le but du jeu est de créer des « ensembles de formes ». Un ensemble est constitué en rassemblant toutes les formes contenues dans l'une des cartes carrées. Chaque forme d'un ensemble rapporte un point. Le joueur qui a utilisé le plus grand nombre de formes (et non d'ensembles) à la fin de la partie gagne ; en d'autres termes, les ensembles contenant davantage de formes rapportent plus de points. Shape Up was born during a Minnesota Vikings game.
For years, our family gets together to share our pain over Viking loses, and distract ourselves with fun, easy-to-learn games.
Shape Up is inspired by one of Paul's favorite games, RACK-O. Shape Up uses that simple beauty of ascending order, but with matching shapes instead of numbers.
During commercial breaks, David showed Paul a rough draft of Shape Up in hopes that Paul would join him in the project. After that first round, Paul channeled his inner Morty and said: "You son of a b*tch, I'm in."

OBJECTIVE:
Get the most points (after 3 rounds) by drawing, revealing, and locking in matching rows of the same shape.
