Welcome to Shiba Goten (柴御殿), a strategic puzzle game inspired by Hinamatsuri (ひな祭り), Japan’s beloved traditional celebration.

In Shiba Goten (柴御殿), adorable Shiba dogs take the place of traditional dolls. Your challenge is to create the most beautiful 14-seat display by carefully choosing which Shiba dogs to place, and where to place them.

But with only 14 seats, every choice matters.

Balance position, color, and harmony across the tiers. Think ahead, make the right choices, and create a display worthy of your very own Shiba palace.

It may look adorable.
But beneath the cuteness lies a clever puzzle of strategy, placement, and choice.

Shiba Goten is a puzzle game in which players attempt to complete a Hina display of 4 tiers(2, 3, 4, and 5 seats) with 14 spaces in total. Collect Doll Cards from the shared market and arrange them beautifully on your display.

柴御殿は、四段（2・3・4・5席）十四席からなるひな壇を完成させるパズルゲーム。場札から人形札を獲得してひな壇配置マットに美しく配置しよう。

Each round proceeds as follows
プレイヤーは以下の手順でラウンドを行う。

① Prepare the Shared Market: Place the Doll Cards face-up in a row from either draw piles equal to the [number of players+ 1]. Also add the 2 top cards from the draw piles to complete the market.　For example in a 3 player game, the game starts with 4 face-up cards + 2 cards from the draw piles.

①場札を作る：任意の山札から、下図のように２つの山札間にプレイヤー人数＋1枚を表向きのまま並べ、山札の一番上の人形札2枚を加え、これを場札とする。

② Set the Collecting Condition: The Decreer decides the condition for collecting the Doll Cards either collecting Dolls of ‘a color’ or ‘a role’ and places the Decree Chip with that side facing up.

②条件を決める：御触役が人形札取得条件（色縛り・役職縛り）を決め、御触札を決めた向きでプレイヤーみんなが見える位置に置く。

③ Collect the Doll Cards: Players take turns in a clockwise order to take 1 set of Doll Cards that matches the collecting condition for that round, which are then placed in their own Hina Display Mat according to the Display Mat’s arrangement rules.
Discard the remaining cards in the market (without discarding the cards in the draw piles). Whenever a player completes an objective they can earn that objective card.

③人形札取得：御触役の左隣のプレイヤーから時計回りで順にそのラウンドの人形札取得条件に一致する任意の1セットを選び、選んだ条件に一致する人形札をすべて取得し、自分の配置マットに以下の【ひな壇配置ルール】にそって配置する。全プレイヤーが配置後、残っている人形札は捨て札としてまとめて脇に置いておく。

④Pass the Decree Chip to the player to the left, then begin a new round from step①.

④御触役を左隣のプレイヤーに回し、①～③を繰り返す。

End of the game
The game is played by repeating steps ①~④. When any 1 player fills all 14 seats on the Hina Display Mat, that player receives the red "First Completion"

Sub-Objective Card. The other players then play 1 additional round of ①~③ to finish the game. Alternatively, the game ends when the draw piles run out of cards.

ラウンド①〜④を繰り返し、いずれかのプレイヤーがひな壇の14席をすべて埋めたらそのプレイヤーは「最初に１４席完了」の赤の小御題札を獲得する。その後、他のプレイヤーは追加１ラウンド①～③を行い、ゲーム終了となる。もしくは山札がなくなったらその時点で強制終了となる。

The Game: Hanami Picnic Challenge

In this engaging game, players must strategically secure the largest and most desirable picnic area to enjoy food, drinks, and entertainment like music. The player who successfully expands their area and gathers the most materials wins the game.

春になると満開の桜の木の下は、お花見をする人たちの場所取り合戦に。
広く良いスペースを確保し、宴を楽しむための飲食や遊びを用意できるとよりお花見を楽しめることでしょう。
自分の茣蓙を広げ、宴を楽しむための素材をたくさん集めることができた人が勝ちとなる、そんな陣取りゲームを形にしました。
