SIDEKICKS ON THE RAMPAGE!

Welcome! Thank you for checking out our project for Sidekick Skuffle, our new tabletop miniatures pet battle game. We’ve been making Sidekicks since our very first Babes Kickstarter back in 2012. They’re great little minis for rpgs and other games as companion animals, familiars, and what not, but for years people have asked us “Do you have a game for these?” Well…we’ve made one!

Now gamers can enjoy a fanciful skirmish of quirky critters, cute creatures, and tiny robot minis that’s fun to play, quick to set up, easy to learn, and offers more team combinations than you can shack a stick at! Guide your chosen teams in battles for supremacy in arenas of your choosing. Gameplay options include competitive player vs player style duels, as well as solo or co-operative play vs card-controlled mighty Boss Sidekicks. Your chosen team consists of three Sidekicks. Sidekick profiles are unique and can be quite effective in a variety of combinations. Move them across a plain map for a head-to-head battle or a map of terrain which can affect tactics, all the while navigating environmental hazards to outfox your opponents. Special scenario maps of exotic locales provide additional challenge and complexity. 

By supporting this project, you’re helping us produce the initial game as well as expand on Sidekicks we can offer for it in the future. To keep things simple we’re offering a basic Skuffle bundle (either physical or digital).

[Skuffle Minis Set]

This bundle includes:

• Game zine. The game zine includes the Sidekick Skuffle rules, the card stat blocks for each Sidekick currently available (including bosses and Sidekick sets we already have in our webstore), and a plain hex map, as well as maps for various scenarios to enhance gameplay even further. (Printed zine for physical, PDF for digital)
• Set of 3 unique Boss Sidekicks (3D prints for physical, STLs for digital)
• Set of 3 unique Mythic Sidekicks (3D prints for physical, STLs for digital)
• 9 additional unique Sidekicks, one of each of the remaining types. (3D prints for physical, STLs for digital)

There’s also an Arena bundle. The Arena bundle includes everything in the Skuffle bundle, and in addition, backers will receive all of the Sidekick sets we currently have available. That’s an additional 27 miniatures.

THE CREATORS

Vicky Morgan-Keith designed most of our Kritterkin line and many of the new Sidekicks featured in this project. She doesn't know much about Pokemon, but has been a huge fan of WoW pet battle and is pleased to offer her take on this game genre with Sidekick Skuffle.

Patrick Keith has contributed work all across the miniatures industry sculpting traditionally in putty for companies like Reaper Miniatures, Dark Sword Miniatures, Privateer Press, CMoN, Avatars of War, and over thirty more. Patrick now sculpts digitally for Bombshell Miniatures and select clients like DGS Games, Trenchworx, Victoria Miniatures, Enemy Spotted, Tabletop Time, and many others.

FULFILMENT

Physical Fulfillment will be via Shipping Physical Minis

• Shipping will be FREE in the Continental United States. We are not shipping rewards outside of that area for this campaign.

• We will be producing physical prints here in our dedicated print farm and shipping will begin once funds are transferred from Kickstarter. The funding transfer process usually takes approximately two weeks from when the project ends.

Digital Fulfillment will be via MyMiniFactory

• Your card will be charged by Kickstarter once the campaign ends. If you use different email addresses on MyMiniFactory and Kickstarter, please let me know in the survey that will be sent out.
• Once Kickstarter has disbursed the funds to me and all of the Stretch Goals have been completed, I will use the Kickstarter messaging system to contact you with a link that will direct you to our MyMiniFactory store.  After you set up your free account, your STL files will be made available to you at no additional cost.
• All done by the end of November, or sooner, if all goes as expected.

All of the products created during this Kickstarter will be made available there. You can, go ahead and create your own free account there now!
