Skybound Adventures

A brilliant gnome shipwright made the greatest mistake of his life.

Years ago, he was commissioned by a wealthy explorer to build a revolutionary vessel — an airship powered by a mysterious fallen star. The patron promised discovery, glory, and voyages beyond the known world.

But the truth was far darker.

The “explorer” was a disguise. The man’s real identity is Captain Redtide of the Crimson Wave — a notorious necromancer pirate long believed dead, now returned to seize the skies.

Realizing what he has done, the gnome seeks help from a band of adventurers. His plan is simple. Dangerous. Possibly suicidal. Steal the airship back before Redtide launches it.

Skybound Adventures is a drop-in D&D5e one-shot adventure outline where players infiltrate the Crimson Wave hangar, reclaim the stolen vessel, and escape into the skies.

If they succeed, the prize is more than treasure. The airship becomes theirs. From that moment on, the party can take to the skies as explorers — sailing between floating islands, distant lands, and perhaps even other planes.

The Skybound Adventures digital book (PNP) provides everything needed to run the adventure and launch a sky-based campaign.

In addition, the project includes 25 aerial backdrop maps designed for airship travel and combat encounters. These backdrops provide dynamic environments such as:

All maps will include:

• Gridded versions
• Gridless version

• Print-and-Play (PNP) versions (300 DPI for high-quality printing)
• Virtual Tabletops (VTT) versions (150 DPI for smooth digital play)

As the campaign grows, additional content will unlock.
