Somnonautas

A tiny nightmare climbs amongst the branches of a strange tree with purple and turquoise foliage before plunging into a nearby dream. On the horizon, a hundred mountain fragments float peacefully, silhouetted against the glow of the Lumnus. Three somnonauts, mesmerised by the strange landscape, fail to notice a pair of curious muses watching them from the undergrowth.

Somnonautas is a TTRPG in which, every night, the characters, dreamwalkers, delve into the dreams of others, encounter muses and nightmares, and explore the metaphysical world of Oniria whilst dealing with exams, first loves, and family problems during the day.

The system places the dreamwalkers' mental and emotional state at the heart of the action, with a dynamic in which the emotions you’ve felt during the day become a key element of the adventures you experience in the dream realms, and where teamwork and creativity make the difference between victory and defeat.

The characters will visit the dreams of their friends, neighbors, and family members—each unique and surreal in its own way—and explore the strange lands of Oniria, where they’ll encounter all manner of spirits, muses and nightmares beneath the ever-changing light of the fractal patterns of the Lumnus.
