Souls Food is the debut project from Faceless Games a small team of five creatives, boardgame industry experts and artists, finally getting to make something we're proud of.
Before we tell you about Souls Food. Grab a snack or think of your last meal.
Now imagine that item or dish, whatever it is, in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world. It can move. It can talk. It can fight. And it will need to do all this and more to survive the crushing weight of existance in The Feast Eternal, where giants, beasts, and other Dishes seek to devour it.
It's core ingredient, it's Food Type, determines who it calls kin and the culture surrounding it. How it was crafted, it's Cooking Method, decides how your dish approaches combat.
Lastly, it's the combination of Ingredients make up its skills. Its ability to fend for itself and interact in whatever environment it may find itself in.
All of that creates your Dish, your being. But don't get attached, you may need to craft a new one quickly. The Great Hunger seeks to consume all.
