Welcome to the edge of known space...
...It's the year 2387, and the galaxy's most dangerous profession just became the most lucrative. Deep in the void beyond charted space, the massive starship Deepspace Horizon drifts silent and dark - a treasure trove of advanced technology, rare materials and secrets worth dying for.
What Is Space Junkers?
Space Junkers is what happens when a train heist gets stranded in deep space. 2 to 6 players scramble across an ever-evolving 3-tier ship, grabbing salvage, drawing on each other, and bailing before it all goes wrong.
Roll your dice, pick your move, and commit - loot, shoot, dodge, or make a break for it. Lose enough reputation and you’ll have fewer options next round, so choose your fights carefully.
With asymmetric characters, hidden missions, and a ship that never plays out the same way twice, every game is a different disaster waiting to happen.
The galaxy’s greatest treasure is up for grabs. Question is - are you fast enough to keep it?

- All players roll their dice and simultaneously lock in the one they want for the round - Move further and grab the loot, or draw your weapon and take it slow? The better your reputation, the more dice you have and the more choice you get!
- Move around the ship and grab the salvage - get to the best loot before the other Junkers can get their hands on it!
- Dangers lurk around every corner - Aliens will attack on sight, damage your rep, and force you to run!
- At the end of your turn, draw an event card... You might be hoping for the 'All Clear', but you could trigger anything from deck fires, asteroid impacts and faulty transporters to ship defenses and airlock purges! Just be ready to make the most of a bad situation, especially if you can use it to get the upper hand over the other Junkers!

Who are Next Dimension Games, Why back with us and Why back now?
Next Dimension Games are board game creators based in Manchester, UK. Space Junkers is our 3rd title and second one to go through crowdfunding.
Our first game, Go Ahead Punk, was successfully crowdfunded in 2023 and delivered (as planned!) in 2024.
It was a hidden movement game based on classic 70s cop cinema. (Think Whitechapel / Fury of Dracula with a deadly Sniper instead of Jack / Dracula). Still Available!
It was really well received and blew all our expectations, being shortlisted for Best American-style game at the 2024 UKGE Game Awards.
Currently, it sits at 8.1 on BGG.
Space Junkers is fully complete and ready to print. Only the smaller details and stretch goal additions will need finalizing.
We hope to move forward and get the game to you quickly. Possibly even before Christmas!
Why Back Now?
There are currently no plans for a retail version of Space Junkers.
If it does go to retail, margin demands mean it will be a stripped-back version of the core game only. Many of the beautiful extras and components you see in this campaign will be absent. Now is the only time to get the first, best version of Space Junkers.
