Steel, Mud and Martyrdom: Part II - Sedivalle

Welcome to the campaign page for my second Kickstarter project, Steel, Mud and Martyrdom Part II. The second instalment of this 32mm miniatures series. Lets get into it.

Steel, Mud and Martyrdom is a miniatures design project drawing from some of my favourite themes throughout history and miniatures. The Steel, Mud and Martyrdom universe is not linked to a single specific game system, and provides a set of x13 miniatures in 32mm to be used in fantasy historic and alternative weird-war game settings, dioramas and displays.

The Core Set:

Steel, Mud and Martyrdom II consists of one large warband of x13 miniatures:

All miniatures are included both pre-supported and un-supported, and fully tested for any digital backers. Supports have been applied and adjusted manually to minimise leftover support marks. The miniatures that have been professionally painted are the exact versions you will receive, with the same supports.

Most miniatures are single-pose. However, some of the cavalry models have arm options, for things like flags or swords or guns options, and both the Beefeater and Medic have separate elements, for the cleanest prints.

The first Steel, Mud and Martyrdom Kickstarter ran last year, in May. Every piece that was released or unlocked in that project is available once again in this project, a part of the massive Compendium pledge, or as its own add-on.

Both Physical and Digital pledges for both Infantry only, and ALL-IN are also available as add-ons, so you can add more sets if you would like when currating your pledges. These will join your total pledge, pushing us closer to the next stretch goal.

Heavy Artillery set (Digital) Add-on - £22

If you need artillery, this add-on provides all of the major ordinance from Steel, Mud and Martyrdom: Part I to flesh out the Steel side of your pledge. This pledge is only available as an Add-on to your initial pledge. This pledge is heavily discounted from the combined current pricing of these files on my STL stores, at a special Kickstarter-only price.

All physical pledge parcels are shipped in a 'small parcel' sized box from the UK.

All miniatures are supplied in 3D printed 12k resolution resin, printed and checked by my small project team during fulfilment. All boxes are fragile-marked. We know what makes a good painting and hobby experience, and will be checking over every piece before shipping to assure the highest quality possible. The rest go to the studio hounds.

Merchant licencing rules overview and details:

For Merchant tier pledgers, your pledge will grant you a life-long commercial licence to sell physical 3D prints of the miniatures included in this Kickstarter. You will recieve this written agreement as a PDF document. You will also receive my digital marketing package of renders once you have received your files.

• The sale of the STL files and/or cast copies is prohibited.

All of the files you will receive are supplieed for use under the CC-BY-NC license, or Creative Commons licence, which means you can use, and display these models for personal use; You cannot sell or otherwise earn money with digital and/or printed copies of these miniatures.

What is Steel, Mud and Martyrdom?

Steel, Mud and Martyrdom is a miniatures design project drawing from some of my favourite themes throughout history; European warfare, formal wear and a little steampunk. I love mechs, feathers, bold fabrics and expressive posing. With these key themes in mind, I have been exploring a universe rich with each - The Steel, Mud and Martyrdom Universe. This project is not linked to a game, but provides miniatures in a standard scale for most tabletop wargames, so please feel free to use them with whatever rules system you prefer.

Steel, Mud and Martyrdom history: 

The first Steel, Mud and Martyrdom Kickstarter ran successfully in May 2025, achieving over 600% funding and three stretch goals  - thank you all who made this possible! This first project featured a total of 36 miniatures and artillery weapons. Every one is listed above in 'add-ons', and is included in this project as an available add-on to any pledge.
