Steel Whisper is built around one idea: controlling a giant combat mech should feel like operating a complex war machine, not just moving and rolling to hit. Manage weapons, heat, energy, damage, positioning, and limited systems - because every decision comes with a trade-off.

I wanted to create a game about fighting in a giant mech - not sneaking, exploring, or wandering across a map. Steel Whisper is focused on pure tactical combat, with every system built around the battle itself.

GAMEPLAY

This way, you can activate lots of extra effects and link them together into combos!

Our Mech is placed in the centre, and we place enemy and building cards on the six squares around it, as per the scenario

We use this card to manage the Mech – its energy, temperature, equipment and sensors, which provide an extra boost to specific actions.

By arranging the control cards correctly, we’ll unlock further advanced equipment cards, which will significantly enhance the Mech’s capabilities

We use this card to determine hits and damage dealt
