Defeat the forces of darkness, face off against the ravaging hordes of undead zombies, skeletons, ghosts and more!

Synergise and create powerful combinations and take on the challenges of the world that get tougher as you progress.

Pulling threat towards yourself, you will need to use your skills and HP wisely to ensure that everyone is still standing at the end of battle!

Your skills deal the greatest amount of damage quickly, but be careful around stronger enemies as they could soon put you in your place!

Your powers are versatile, you must find a balance between dealing damage with dark spells, and using light spells to heal your allies.

Teamwork is important but not necessary to complete the game. You can enjoy the game solo, or as a group of two, three or four! Modifiers in the rulebook accomodate for different player numbers for maximum flexibility.

The Gameplay of Storyteller is divided into two roles: One player is The Storyteller, the other players are The Adventurers.

The Storyteller acts as a games master, controlling the enemies and encounters. There are less rules to follow than in a traditional Tabletop Role-Playing Game, as well as cards for everything so the role is a lot easier to manage.

The Adventurers are on a quest to stop the vile forces of darkness. They'll use their skills to strategize against their enemies and any challenges they face. Working together, they'll take down hordes of undead creatures to save the world!

If you should fail in your quest and run out of time, you restart the game with your accumulated experience (known as Skill Points) better prepared for the battles ahead.

NO FOMO! (Fear of missing out) - I want everyone to enjoy this game exactly the way it was intended, a full and great experience from the start. All add-ons are collector's items or cosmetic upgrades only.

Due to the custom nature of Character and Equipment commissions they will be fulfilled separately. The game and other add ons will be shipped beforehand in most cases.

Do you like it shiny? Then these add ons are for you! Collectors and connoisseurs will find plenty of value in the following treasures. If you're looking for gameplay advantage however, you'll need to search elsewhere. These collectibles are for cosmetic purposes alone!

Hi, I'm Ryan, and you might have already guessed that I'm a bit of a nerd. I've been into nearly every fantasy or sci-fi hobby since the late 80's/early 90's. My mornings as a child were spent watching Pokemon on SMTV: Live or playing any number of games on the first Playstation from Metal Gear Solid to the Final Fantasy series and more.

These influences are only a small fraction of the DNA that makes up Storyteller, because almost every part of the game feels like it's made up of fragments of my own DNA. This project has been my baby for nearly ten years (longer than I've been an actual dad of real human babies) and my dedication to seeing it through is absolute.

While Storyteller has been a passion project of mine for many years, it's not without the unwavering support of the family and friends who surround me that have been part of the process in varying capacities. From inspiration to moral support, childcare, playtests (and everything between) their encouragement and loyalty is appreciated endlessly.

TL;DR - I need some money to manufacture a board game with super awesome Pixel Art, that plays like a 90's videogame in physical form. You move around the board, beat the bad guys, and save the world from the forces of darkness!
