Présentation de la campagne

Enter the prolific worlds of Savage Realms Gamebooks...

Book 0: Balance of Fate: The Legorian Kings Saga

Book 1: What Dreams May Come

Book 2: Malivor: Cataclysm's Edge

and coming soon...

Book 3: The Tavern on Gallows Hill

Written in the interactive style of the Choose Your Own Adventure and Fighting Fantasy gamebooks series, YOU, the reader, determine the outcome of the story by the choices that you make! Sometimes, your very fate may even depend on the roll of the dice themselves!

The small becomes large as the large becomes small. What you would normally squash in the palm of your hand, now stands equal to you. The shock of the sudden change in perspective is nothing compared to the dangers you now face. A pin becomes a weapon that could save your life! The beat of a fly's wings now deafens you! A spider's web is the deadliest of traps! To birds, you are food, but to the Murina People, you are an imposter in their realm and imposters are unwelcome in the black eyes and outlook of the Rat Emperor himself.

The underground miniverse of Subterranea and its denizens await you...

In addition to great storytelling, one thing that you can always expect when opening a Savage Realms gamebook is kick-ass art! For this epic storyline, we have tapped artist Darran Holmes to help bring this extraordinary story to life visually.

Below, are the some of the internal illustrations Darran did for the now defunct 'House of Torment' by Pat O'Neill.

It's been said, "Never judge a book by its cover." Well, we at Savage Realms Press believe that a great gamebook cover is everything! That's why, with every single release, we have partnered with high-caliber artists, and this title will be no different!

For Subterranea: Empire of Wrath, we have enlisted a truly phenomenal artist who needs no introduction ― the Fighting Fantasy legend, himself, Tony Hough!

Below, is some of his mind-blowing artwork...

For the cover of the special, limited-edition hardback, we are bringing back the insanely talented Ilya Shkipin, who did all of the interior artwork (except for the fillustrations) for Balance of Fate: The Legorian Kings Saga. Ilya is also the man behind the internet's most viral picture of a water weird that you see pictured below.

What follows are some samples of his extraordinary ability...

Mark Lain is a gamebook author, collector, and blogger (under his alter-ego of Malthus Dire), and is internationally known for his critically-acclaimed Destiny's Role gamebook series. He is admin of several Facebook gamebook groups, a contributor to Fighting Fantazine, and has been a lifelong gamebook enthusiast since he first discovered The Warlock of Firetop Mountain in 1983.

The paperback of this book will be approximately 6" x 9" and will be between 300 and 500 pages in total length, depending on the final number of illustrations.
