Suburban Showdown: The HOA Election Game is a satirical strategy card game where players compete in a chaotic neighborhood election. Bluff, bid, audit, and scheme your way to victory as you battle for control over the homeowner's association.

What's in the Box?

Each Copy of Suburban Showdown includes Community Cards, Influence Cards, a rulebook, card guide, and box.

How to Play

Reveal Community Cards

Each round, new Community cards are revealed. These cards represent influential neighborhood groups and residents whose support can help shape the election.

Start the Bidding

Players bid influence cards from their hand to compete for the cards they want most. Stronger bids can secure key supporters, but spending too much too early may leave you vulnerable later. Bluffing and deceit can be powerful tools in the race for community support. Be careful however as your rivals can audit you.

Gather Your Supporters & Win the Election

Build a coalition of community members to support you. At the end of the game, players total their votes and the player with the strongest support across the neighborhood becomes the new HOA President.

About Us

We are an independent publisher focused on creating approachable, replayable games. From casual to strategy heavy games, Board games have been a lifelong passion for both of us. Open Table Games grew out of that enthusiasm and a desire to create games that are easy to bring to the table, fun to teach, and memorable to play.

Suburban Showdown is our first release and we hope it is the beginning of many more games to come. Our goal is to release one thoroughly developed game each year so that every project receives the attention it deserves.
