A dungeon crawler built from Summer

Summer Bites is a solo (or small-group) push-your-luck dungeon crawler. Pick one beach-fantasy hero, descend through three rooms of escalating danger, and face a boss at the end.

Combat is resolved by rolling a pool of dice and reading patterns in them — like blackjack crossed with dice poker. The deeper you push your luck, the bigger your attack can be, but the more damage you risk taking.

What you need ?
Five six-sided dice, one hero sheet, three room sheets (one per level) and a boss sheet, a pen, and a beverage of questionable provenance.

Meet the Heroes (in floaties)

Twenty years you gave to the dungeons. Twenty years of damp corridors, of goblins with opinions, of dragons who monologue. You saved three kingdoms, two princesses, and one remarkably ungrateful cat. You have the scars, the trophies, and the recurring dream about the lich who still owes you money.

So you did the sensible thing. You cashed out. You bought sandals. You booked a coastal getaway at a tastefully cursed seaside resort and swore a mighty oath: no more adventuring. Just sun, sand, and an umbrella drink the approximate size of your old helmet.

That lasted about a day and a half...
