What is Symphony of Glory?
Symphony of Glory is a whimsical TTRPG (tabletop role-playing game) where a versatile Action Point system, classless character progression, and a myriad of flavorful abilities combine to make a game that is comfortably approachable yet endlessly customizable.
Partnered with Roll20, we're on track to launch the game with a physical handbook, interactive website, and trading cards by February 2027.
Symphony of Glory aims to cater to those seeking...
- Flexible, remote-friendly play that easily fits into busy schedules.
- Fast-paced, turn-based tactics without clunky, unintuitive rules.
- Complete creative freedom to build exactly the character you imagine.
Designed with accessibility in mind, our game offers online tools that strip away the bookkeeping so you can focus on the fun stuff. Build characters, explore your options, and manage the details of play using tools that make a deep system easier to understand and navigate.
Whether you are running a bite-sized 60-to-90-minute session or an epic, multi-part campaign, we want Symphony of Glory to fit snugly on your shelf, ready to plug-and-play for your next game night!
You can check out more details about the game on our website, download the early access pdf for free on itch.io, and even give our online character creator a try!
Who is Radical Stallion?
Radical Stallion is a small crew of illustrators and writers who operate a remote game studio and have two things in common: a love of games and stories, and dreams of making our own. Naturally, most of us are nerds with a penchant for improv. Though, given our timezone differences, it’s always been tough scheduling sessions of D&D and the like. Some of our other friends have also expressed how the complexity of TTRPG’s drove them away from giving them a shot.
With Symphony of Glory, our goal has been to make a game that's catered to an audience interested in jumping into the TTRPG space, but find it hard to fit into. We want a game that enables people to be creative and roleplay, but can be easy to hop onto at a moment's notice.
Our development of the game has only driven us to be more engaged in this industry; we'll expand upon the role we hope to fulfill in making this industry more accessible to indie creators and will work toward many more projects in the future. For the time being, we bring to you Radical Stallion's first labor of love.
What are your future plans?
By the time this Kickstarter ends, we plan to use the funds to prepare all the backer rewards for shipment, and will fully release the game for physical and digital purchase on the Roll20 Marketplace.
More Symphony of Glory!
If this campaign is successful, we would love to keep the content coming. If we decide to take Symphony of Glory further, you can expect more Realms, Ancestries, and Disciplines (we already have tons of concepts).
You’ll also be able to check out our Patreon to help us facilitate playtests and provide us feedback for how you’d like to see our game develop with future updates!
Additionally, we’d like to improve the quality of the website’s online tools based on your feedback, and perhaps even develop a Virtual Tabletop of our own for the system! This VTT would likely be available on Steam.
The end goal with Symphony of Glory would be to develop its Virtual Tabletop with open-source values in mind; it should be accessible to all, have a user-focused design, and be driven by its community.
- Low barrier to entry: Players can join sessions for free; only GMs need to purchase the full version. That removes the biggest friction point in getting people to try something new: asking a whole group to spend money upfront.
- Accessibility-first: Our VTT will aim to be intuitively designed so that navigating its interface and tools feels natural and quick; planning sessions should require minimal setup.
- Strong modding support: Full integration with Steam Workshop tools will allow easy creation and sharing of content like battle maps, character models, sfx, etc. The game will support modding API as a means for GMs to customize their campaigns with user-made assets in conjunction with our own.
More new projects!
We have other projects in the works that many on our team would love to expand upon. Be sure to keep tabs on Radical Stallion to hear more about what we're up to!
For now, we thank you for giving our first passion project your time; it’s never stopped feeling surreal to see how far it’s come, and we’re thrilled to see where things go from here!
