New Possibilities, New Ways to Enjoy Tabletop World!

We love creating beautiful terrain. But what if we could give you even more ways to enjoy it?

Over the years, Tabletop World has become known for highly detailed, carefully crafted terrain that brings fantasy worlds to life. Our buildings are designed to create immersive settings, tell stories, and make every gaming table feel like a world of its own.

With this campaign, we'd like to explore two new directions and see where they take us. Both are driven by the same idea: finding new ways to make our terrain even more enjoyable, both on and off the gaming table.

A New Direction: Ruined Buildings!

One of the things we'd love to explore is a new addition to the Tabletop World range: ruined buildings!

While our traditional buildings are designed to capture the beauty and atmosphere of a fantasy world, ruined buildings offer something different. They are much more gameplay-friendly, providing easier access, more open spaces, and new possibilities for movement, positioning, and tactical decisions during your games.

We believe this could be a fantastic new direction for Tabletop World. Ruined buildings would allow you to create more dynamic battlefields while maintaining the level of detail and craftsmanship you have come to expect from us.

But every new range has to start somewhere.

Meet the Ruined Cottage!

For our first step into this new territory, we've chosen a relatively small model: the Ruined Cottage.

The fire has long since died. The last footsteps faded years ago. Rain slips through the broken roof, weeds push between ancient stones, and ivy slowly claims the walls that once sheltered a family. A forgotten road leads to its doorstep, but no one remembers who lived here or why they left.

We don't want to jump straight into a large collection of ruined buildings without first finding out how much interest there is in this idea. Instead, we're starting small, with a single model that will help us test the waters and see how you feel about this new direction.

Think of the Ruined Cottage as the beginning of a possible new chapter for Tabletop World. If you like what you see and show us that there is enough interest, we'd love to expand the concept with more ruined buildings in future campaigns.

Your support and feedback will help us decide whether this should become a permanent part of our collection.

We are genuinely excited about this possibility and can't wait to see your response!

Give Your Terrain a World of Its Own!

Some scenes deserve more than a place on the gaming table. They deserve a place of their own.

Alongside the ruined buildings, we'd also like to experiment with another new idea: Diorama Bases!

The concept is simple. Take one of our terrain pieces and give it a dedicated display setting, transforming it into a beautiful, self-contained scene that can be admired even when the dice are put away and the gaming table is cleared.

Think of it as a little window into another world. A way to showcase the craftsmanship and details of your terrain in a completely different way.

And, of course, you can take things even further by adding miniatures to the scene. A wandering adventurer, a lone guard, or a group of travelers can add life, scale, and another layer of storytelling.

No Home but the Road

A temporary shelter, a new day, and another journey ahead.

After a night on the road, two wanderers, a man and his wife, have found shelter among the remains of an old cottage. As the first rays of sunlight touch the countryside, the man is already preparing breakfast in the kettle, while his wife, just awakened, stretches towards the sky, welcoming the warmth of the morning sun on her face.

For a brief moment, the world stands still. The road can wait, breakfast is almost ready, and the old ruined cottage offers everything they need.

No Home but the Road is a special display diorama created around our Ruined Cottage. It transforms the cottage from a piece of tabletop terrain into a miniature scene full of atmosphere and storytelling. Designed to be admired and displayed, it shows how even a forgotten ruin can become the setting for a beautiful little story.

A simple moment of companionship, warmth, and the freedom of wandering, captured in a miniature world of its own.

A Kickstarter Exclusive!

The Diorama Base will be available exclusively to our Kickstarter backers.

This is something new we want to explore, and we'd love to do it together with the community that has supported Tabletop World throughout the years.

We see it as an opportunity to offer something different: not just terrain to play with, but terrain to collect, display, and enjoy as miniature works of art.

If there is enough interest, we'd love to make Diorama Bases a regular Kickstarter Exclusive feature of our future campaigns, giving you even more ways to enjoy the terrain we create.

Two New Ideas. Your Feedback. Our Next Steps.

Both of these ideas represent new possibilities for Tabletop World.

Ruined buildings could open up a whole new range of gameplay-friendly terrain, while Diorama Bases could offer a completely different way to appreciate and display our creations.

We don't want to make these decisions in isolation. As always, your support and feedback are what help shape the future of Tabletop World.

So, whether you're excited about creating more dynamic battlefields, displaying beautiful terrain pieces as miniature works of art, or both, we'd love to have you along for the journey.

Let's explore new possibilities together and see where they take us!

Thank you for being part of Tabletop World!

Ruined Cottage

Introducing our Ruined Cottage Kickstarter, a small, focused project that marks the beginning of something potentially much bigger.

We believe ruined buildings could bring a whole new dimension to your tabletop worlds. From abandoned settlements and forgotten battlefields to long-deserted villages, these models could help you tell even more stories through your miniatures and terrain.

But before committing to a whole new range, we want to take a step-by-step approach. This Kickstarter is our way of testing the waters and seeing how much interest there really is in ruined buildings among our community and the wider tabletop market.

If the campaign is successful, we plan to continue developing more ruined buildings. The Ruined Cottage could be the first of many, opening the door to a new collection shaped by your enthusiasm and support.

As always, our goal is to create detailed, characterful models that bring your tabletop worlds to life. And this time, we're exploring a new direction together with you.

Give Your Terrain a World of Its Own!

Some scenes deserve more than a place on the gaming table. They deserve a place of their own.

At Tabletop World, we have always believed that great terrain is about more than just creating scenery for your games. Every building, every detail, every carefully crafted element helps tell a story and brings a little piece of a fantasy world to life.

With this campaign, we'd like to take that idea one step further.

We are introducing something new: the Diorama Base!

And here's where you come in!

We want to see how much you like this idea. If there is enough interest among our backers, we would love to make Diorama Bases a regular Kickstarter Exclusive feature of our future campaigns.

Help Us Bring This Idea to Life!

We are excited to see what you think and, more importantly, what you will create with this new option.

Whether you choose to display the terrain on its own or populate it with miniatures to tell an even bigger story, we hope the Diorama Base will give you a new way to enjoy the worlds we create together.

Because some worlds are simply too beautiful to keep on the gaming table.

Thank you for being part of the Tabletop World journey!

Thank you for all your suggestions, encouragement, and continued support. Your feedback has helped bring this idea to life, and now we're excited to see where it leads.

Let's find out together what the future holds for ruined buildings at Tabletop World!
