Tank Clash is back with new iconic World War 2 tanks!

The Red Army is spearheaded by the powerful Soviet armoured units like the T34, SU100 and IS2. Germany pins its hopes on the last of the panzer divisions to halt the Soviet advance. The Wehrmacht fields its fearsome tanks like the Stug III, Nashorn and Tiger II for the coming battle.

The stage is set for the largest clash of late-war heavy armour.

Tank Clash : Eastern Front is a standalone tactical tank warfare game for 2 players, designed for both newcomers and seasoned strategists. Easy to learn yet rich in tactical choices, it combines its signature checkers-style armour tracking system with dice rolling and hand management for intense skirmish battles.

Already own Tank Clash : Western Front?  

Built with modularity in mind, Eastern Front is fully compatible with its predecessor. Combine both games to command 12 unique tank types across expansive battlefields with up to 4 players. Eastern Front's new features - including new missions, battlefield tokens, event cards and enhanced gameplay elements can also be incorporated into Western Front for an even richer combat experience.

All Tank Clash games are designed to be intuitive to play, quick to set up, and playable in under an hour.

A core feature of Tank Clash is its armour tokens, which accompany each tank to determine its defensive strength. When opposing tanks engage in battle, the first tank to lose all of its armour tokens becomes vulnerable to complete destruction.

Engage in intense tank skirmishes using a combination of dice, tactical cards, and morale cards. Secret missions introduce hidden objectives, while modular terrain boards ensure that every battle offers a fresh tactical challenge and high replayability.

What's new

Eastern Front introduces new iconic Soviet tank types and new German tank types.

A solo mode will also be available for both Western Front and Eastern Front. It will be released as a free download on our BoardGameGeek pages. All tokens required for solo play are included in Eastern Front.

Players manoeuvre their tanks, engage in dice-based combat, and use tactical and morale cards to outwit their opponent while managing each tank's armour. Victory is achieved by destroying the enemy force, capturing the enemy base, or completing a mission.

Eastern Front introduces a new "Hold the Line!" mission that re-enacts the last major German offensive to break through well-fortified Soviet lines to secure critical oil reserves. At the same time, it retains the classic Western Front gameplay, including secret missions and the victory point win condition.

All components (tokens, cards and terrain boards) in Tank Clash are modular and can be combined to create large-scale tank battles with more than 2 players. 4-player games can be set up with any 2 Tank Clash sets. More information on 4-player games can be found on our Boardgamegeek forum.

Eastern Front packs even more components than its predecessor, including event cards, a victory point/round tracker, solo, smoke and mine tokens. Content that was previously exclusive to the Kickstarter edition - such as reference cards and bridge tokens - is now included as standard. 

Our backers have been asking for chibi tank miniatures, so we've provided 2 options to get them onto the battlefield!

We’re proud to share that, despite rising shipping costs across multiple campaigns, we’ve never asked our backers to top up their pledges.

Our Kickstarter pricing is set below the recommended retail price in most markets - for example, around US$30 for the Kickstarter edition compared with US$45 at retail. We hope this helps offset the impact of higher delivery fees. It's our way of thanking our backers for supporting our campaign.

Furthermore, the print run of Eastern Front will be larger than that of its predecessor. Despite including 40% more components than Western Front, we're keeping the selling price virtually unchanged, with adjustments made only to reflect changes in shipping costs.

And for backers planning to visit SPIEL Essen in Germany this year, we're aiming to debut Eastern Front there - provided everything goes smoothly with production and logistics. When we launched Tank Clash, we promised it would be the first in a growing series -and we're excited to deliver on that promise with this sequel. Many of our supporters have also been collecting our chibi tank miniatures, and we're expanding the range with every release. Step by step, we're building a modular battlefield where multiple tank factions can clash in an ever-growing world of tactical warfare.
