Long ago, before the world was stitched with borders and kings, the storm god Taranis unleashed a devastating storm that fractured the land but left a single oak tree untouched. Struck by divine lightning and made sacred, this oak became a symbol of life and protection. Centuries later, a tribe of exiles, guided by visions, discovered this storm-scarred valley and founded the village of Taranwyth in the valley around the holy tree, honoring Taranis through rituals and storm magic.

Taranwyth flourished until the mysterious emergence of the Breath of Taranis—a dark, corrupting mist believed to stem from forbidden wizardry in a shadowy realm known as the Kingdom beyond the Light. The mist twisted the minds of Taranwyth's leaders and unleashed monstrous creatures upon the land. In response, the village’s bravest warriors ventured into the cursed kingdom, fought back the darkness, and were honored with the construction of the Monument of the Sword. Yet, the monument quickly fell into ruin, and the Kingdom beyond the Light remains a feared and cursed place.

To this day, Taranwyth stands as a mystical and perilous land where the divine and mortal intertwine, and the echoes of thunder may signal either salvation or doom.

Fulfillment & Delivery

Amidst a difficult, turbulent time for international trade of physical products we are delighted that Taranwyth is a fully digital files' project, which happily means that there are no shipping costs for any of the pledges of course! And no shipping also means no tariffs for anyone!

The fulfillment of the Taranwyth project will occur between September and October 2025 via MyMiniFactory and the MyMiniFactory pledge manager.

All buildings STLs have already been optimized, tested and pre-supported for resin printing. Once the campaign is funded we will start optimizing and testing all files for FDM printing too and we will be ready to deliver your pledges within the given timeframe.

As all products are digital files, all files of Taranwyth will be delivered via the pledge manager of our trusted partner - MyMiniFactory. We have been working with MyMiniFactory for years now and we have previously utilized their pledge manager for the delivery of all digital STL files of our last Kickstarter campaign - Erevan's Guide to Death and Beyond.

Additionally, there will be a late pledge available, both through Kickstarter (for a limited time only) and through MyMiniFactory, but please bear in mind that the prices of all STLs will be slightly increased in the late pledge and pledge manager stages, so consider pledging now to get the best possible pricing for all products. The Taranwyth models will also be available for sale at a later stage through our online store but the price increases there will be even more significant.

Please also bear in mind that, for European backers - there will be an additional VAT charge to the price that you see on the campaign graphics.

Pre-supported & Quality Assurance

All Taranwyth terrain models will come cut and optimized for both resin and FDM 3D printing. Resin print files will come presupported.

Our experienced in-house support team has already completed more than 90% of the support work necessary for resin printing of the main Taranwyth terrain STL buildings of the main tiers and we will soon start the work for the Stretch Goals and also for the FDM optimization. Our years of experience and proven results with our miniatures resin printing, as well as the existing terrain models' photos can provide you with a guarantee of the highest quality of supports and optimized files you can expect for such a project.

All models are not only pre-supported, but always printed in-house and tested by our experienced quality control team to ensure that you will be receiving the best possible quality for your files as well as a smooth printing and assembly process. All people and collaborators that had to print the models for their video work faced almost no issues at all as the models are already tested and properly pre-supported.

Merchant Tier

If you are a Merchant, via the Merchant Tier on our Patreon or MyMiniFactory, then all you need to do is back the pledge level you want and this will provide you with the full commercial license for the models you backed for as long as you remain a Merchant through our Merchant tiers.

Innovation

Here at Archvillain Games, we have been creating high-detail, premium quality miniatures STLs for the past 6 years, you can check our Patreon and MyMiniFactory pages to find out more details about our miniatures.

But our ideas and inspiration are endless and we really wanted to find the best, most appropriate terrain models where our miniatures can live in and our adventures can take place. We looked but couldn't find what we were looking for: very high-detail, immersive and meticulously crafted building STLs of all kinds, suitable for wargames and tabletop RPG games. That's why we decided to make them!

For the past 8 months, our studio's firepower, consisting of amazing 2D artists, 3D sculptors, with the guidance of our Art Directors, came to the conceptualization and subsequently materialization of the terrain models you can see in the campaign. What started off as experimentation for us led to some breathtaking results that we couldn't wait patiently enough to share with you.

Today, we are more than proud with the results and super excited that all of you can get your hands to the most detailed, highly thematic, truly epic terrain buildings STLs, covering a wide range adding another level to your games!

Painted by Minis For War

Most of the Taranwyth terrain pieces you can see in our main Kickstarter video and on our campaign page were painted by our trusted friends and partners Minis for War!

Minis for War is an established professional miniature painting studio based in Poland. They have been one of our stable painting partners for the past many months and one of our first monumental tasks for them was to paint our Taranwyth terrain models and boy, did they deliver!

3D Renders VS Printed Models

Here is a step by step guide to backing a project on Kicktarter

1 .Choose a Reward tier

In the Rewards section, select the tier, select a tier you want. Click on the tier to see a full description of what’s included.

2. Click “Back this Project”

After choosing your reward tier, click the green “Back this Project” button next to your selection.

3.. Enter your Pledge Amount

Our custom tier allows for a custom amount and all others have a set pledge amount. Confirm the amount you want to pledge.

4. Log in and Confirm Payment Method

Log into your Kickstarter account (create an account if you haven’t already). Kickstarter will prompt you to enter your payment information if it’s not already saved. Depending on your location, Kickstarter accepts credit/debit cards and some other payment methods.

5. Review and Submit

Double check your pledge amount, reward tier and payment information and then click pledge or confirm to finalize your pledge.

6. Change your mind?

You can always change or cancel your pledge until the last day of the campaign, the 4th of July. Your card will be charged upon the end of the funding period of the campaign, after the 4th of July.

7 . Receive Updates

Once you have backed the project, you will be receiving direct updates from the creator about the project’s progress and any Stretch Goals and more related news.

And that’s it! You are now officially a backer and you will be receiving all your rewards within 3 months after the end of the campaign.

The Team

Konstantinos Martinos is CEO, Creative Director, and founder of Archvillain Games.

Enrico Serini is an Art Director and concept artist at Archvillain Games. Class 1989. Formally AD, practically too. Into Soulslike aesthetics, gothic pin ups and fancy suits.

Dimitris Dimarelos is a graphic designer at Archvillain Games. Dimitris resides in Mt. Pelion, the mythic birthplace of centaurs. Specialized in the deepest levels of visual necromancy, he delights in enhancing the darkest projects in tabletop gaming. Ironically, rumors suggest he is rather approachable, and that he loves drawing cartoons.

Konstantinos Pananas is the Project Manager of Archvillain Games. He has been working in the tabletop gaming industry over the past 8 years with various different board game and RPG publishers. He has managed and consulted more than 16 successful crowdfunding campaigns and developed numerous products and projects in the creative industry.

Xoan Molares Montero is the Marketing Manager of Archvillain Games.

Alex Kapotsis is the Media Manager of Archvillain Games. Dissociation and doom-scrolling enthusiast. Photography and video apprentice. Gatekeeper of all of our social media platforms. Looking to buy a Hyrax.

Diamantis Anastasiadis is a filmmaker and musician. He directed, shot and edited the Taramwyth Kickstarter video and composed its music.

Billpo Productions are a videography studio, based in Volos. Their amazing videography can be found in most of our Taranwyth videos and reels.

All the 2d artwork, sketches, blueprints and subsequent 3D modeling, sculpting, cutting and supporting of all the terrain models and miniatures you see in this campaign is the labour of love of our whole studio, our incredible 2D and 3D artists, sculptors and support team, all of which are more than vital to our work: they are our bloodline and inspiration for Taranwyth and for most of the projects we create, we thank them all dearly!
