Temple of Horrors is a dungeon crawler game created by Michele Quondam as a tribute to ’80s D&D game sessions. It’s designed for 1–4 players, with an average playtime of about 90 minutes. The stunning illustrations are by Mirko Failoni and Arianna Geloni, while Filippo Giovannini sculpted the miniatures.
We are excited to present this campaign, where you can pledge for the Temple of Horrors base game, the Divine Favor expansion, and several addons!
In Temple of Horrors, players explore a Dungeon filled with Creatures. Minion Creatures are numerous but weaker, while Elite Creatures and Leaders appear when too many Minions are triggered and pose a greater threat. Bosses are the most dangerous, guarding specific areas and wielding powerful abilities.
The Dungeon is built by players placing Room tiles from the display. Both the type of Rooms and their placement are essential for determining Adventure events and progress.
There are seven Heroes to choose from: Barbarian, Cleric, Thief, Bard, Mage, Monk, and Ranger. Each Hero has a personal deck of Power cards. Players start with one active Power and can buy more using Experience Points, as well as upgrade them. Heroes can also collect Items from treasure or purchase them using coins.
With Temple of Horrors, you can play over 100 different Adventures, each highly replayable and offering endless variety and challenges.
Play epic one-shots or campaigns, in Cooperative or Solo mode — with the optional twist of a hidden Traitor!
Now it’s time to form your party!
Divine Favor is the first expansion for Temple of Horrors, designed to bring even more variety and depth to your adventures. It introduces new mighty powers, additional challenges, and new ways to play.
The Divine Favor expansion includes:
- 7 new double-sided Power cards, one for each class. These cards allow you to develop your character further and take on more adventures while maintaining your traits over time. The Cleric gains the Divine Favor Power, which gives the expansion its name.
- 9 new Bosses with their corresponding cards and standees: Medusa, Mimic, Banshee, Air Elemental, Gelatinous Cube, Bugbear, Chimera, Mind Eater, and Giant Serpent. The standee for the Dragon is also included—its Boss card was already featured in the base game. All Boss cards have been redesigned to include an illustration of the creature, helping players better immerse themselves in the game. The Miniatures will be available as addon.
- A new double-sided Hour board, which allows for difficulty modulation. The layout of the color zones has been adjusted, enabling players to set most of the game in the green and yellow zones. Trap difficulty has also been rebalanced, making them easier to handle.
- The Expansion is available here in English or French. You’ll be able to select your preferred language version during the Pledge Manager.
The expansion does not require a rulebook, but we’re happy to announce that in the coming months, we will release an updated rulebook for the Temple of Horrors base game. The rules themselves will remain the same, but they will be reorganized to make the game easier to learn and understand. This update will include a new index and some refinements, and the revised version will be available as a free online download.

Temple of Horrors is a cooperative dungeon crawler board game that pays tribute to 1980s Dungeons & Dragons. Players become unique heroes venturing into a dark, trap-filled temple teeming with monsters and secrets. They must work together, using their special abilities to survive, fight enemies, and solve puzzles before time runs out. The game captures the spirit of classic fantasy adventures in a tense and immersive experience.
