Ten Weeks to Oblivion

Statut actuel
Andy, Greg and Ryan love TTRPGs and have been playing them ever since they were kids. Creating a TTRPG has been a dream come true and they couldn't be more excited about TEN WEEKS TO OBLIVION.
One aspect of TEN WEEKS TO OBLIVION started years ago with a space combat system Andy devised for a board game but the core story, universe and concept came from a simple desire he had to play a sprawling 'Save the Galaxy' campaign with his friends, inspired as he was by Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Mass Effect, The Expanse, and a gazillion other Sci-Fi classics.
He wrote the story and started GMing the campaign with some mates using an off-the-shelf system he thought would work, but it turned out to have too many limitations. He wanted something with depth but also speed, crunch but also fun, and maximisation but also teamwork. Homebrewing soon turned into a fully-fledged system and so his friend Greg was brought on board to bring balance, math genius and decades of TTRPG experience.
Meanwhile, two groups of play testers continued with the campaign, enduring all the twists and turns of the engine building and helping deliver a ruthless pragmatism around new ideas; if they were fun, they stayed, and if they weren't, they died.
Toward the end of this process Greg's roleplaying buddy (and artist extroadinaire) Ryan came on board and delivered the art to accompany the game, also ensuring that everything about TEN WEEKS TO OBLIVION was human-derived. He gave the OMEGA Operatives, weapons, enemies, spaceships, aliens, planets and everything you could think of their unique look and feel.
All of this was still being done for fun and just because we could, but we had also started to realise we might have something on our hands that we could share with others. We booked ourselves into UKGE 2026 with a small stand to find people to playtest with and sign up anyone interested in potential crowdfunding.
It went Gangbusters!!
We were bowled over by how much people were passionate about this universe too, their positive feedback from the playtesting, and the idea that if we went to crowdfunding the product was already mostly done i.e. this wouldn't be taking a chance on something because we ALREADY had a 200 page rulebook, a 180 page Novella, and a 160 page Campaign book, as well as standee designs, battlemaps, and character sheets. It was all good to go, made by fans for fans with all the nerdy Sci-Fi love three geeky mates could muster.
And that all brings us to now, on the most well-known crowdfunding site on the planet: Kickstarter.
We want to share the fun we've had with TEN WEEKS TO OBLIVION with as many people as possible, whether that be through the PDFs for print-and-play or 'The Works' with all the shiny goodness professionally produced.
We are confident that Scif-Fi TTRPG fans will love this game, and that it can also be used as a gateway for non-TTRPG-ers to discover a new and exciting hobby.
Be a Hero. Save the Galaxy. Maybe Survive.
The Human Race needs you.
