Bristol was designed around a simple idea: a gaming table should look just as good when you’re not playing a game. Its contemporary design combines solid Ash and matte powder-coated steel, creating a piece of furniture that fits naturally into a dining room or living space. But lift the tabletop and Bristol reveals what is underneath.

THE SECRET IS UNDER THE TABLETOP

Unlike many of our other gaming tables, Bristol doesn’t use an external accessory rail. Instead, the essential features for gaming are built directly into the table frame.

Grooved counter holders and integrated cup holders keep your essentials close at hand, while the hidden playing area underneath the removable tops gives you the space you need to set up and leave your game ready to play.

In other words, Bristol looks like a table until you take the tops off.

The Basic Pledge includes everything you need to get started, but if you want to get even more out of your Bristol, these optional playing surfaces offer extra ways to protect, customise and use your table. They are available as add-ons and are not included in the Basic Pledge.

Acrylic Layer

A transparent, dry-erase surface that protects your playing surface while giving you room to draw, write and plan. It also comes in handy for games you want to leave set up, such as a jigsaw puzzle: simply cover it with the Acrylic Layer and carry on using the table without disturbing your progress.

1-Inch Grid

A thin, durable playing surface featuring a parchment-style 1-inch grid. Ideal for tactical games, miniatures and tabletop RPGs, its fantasy-inspired look works just as well in other settings.

The Perfect Combination

Combine the Acrylic Layer with the 1-Inch Grid to draw encounters directly onto the surface as you play, or prepare maps and battlefields in advance. It is a simple way to make your table even more versatile for tactical games and RPG sessions.

Vault-Sized Game Mat

Add colour and atmosphere to your gaming vault with a themed backdrop that complements your game and helps bring its world to life. The mat provides a comfortable playing surface while making it easier to immerse yourself in the setting.

Tabletop-Sized Game Mat

A versatile, waterproof mat that adds colour to your table while helping protect it from spills. It can also be placed over the Tabletop Leaves, letting you play on a comfortable surface without reopening the vault. This is particularly useful when you have a campaign or game set up inside the table and want to continue playing on top without disturbing it.

Transparent Matte PVC Tablecloth

The Original Bristol Table campaign:

Bristol was first introduced through a Kickstarter campaign in 2021, although the design had already been refined for several years before it made its crowdfunding debut.

The campaign became Geeknson’s biggest crowdfunding success to date, with more than 800 Bristol tables sold in a single campaign. Since then, Bristol has moved into regular production and has found its way into hundreds of homes around the world.
