ABOUT THE PROJECT

Over two centuries ago, the familiar landscape of sprawling cities and massive factories first began to take shape. The 1760s sparked the Industrial Revolution, where the relentless roar of steam engines and rapid manufacturing brought thousands to the cities, forever reshaping society. That era laid the heavy, unyielding foundation for a modern world forged from iron, coal, and steel.

But the cogs of progress never stop turning. Fast forward nearly two hundred years, and we arrive at the absolute pinnacle of this mechanical evolution: the 1950s. This was the golden age of monumental industrial growth, a time defined by striking engineering and bold, purely functional aesthetics.
