The Lord of the Rings™: Ascension™ is a deckbuilding game for 1–4 players that takes you on an adventure through Middle-earth across three interconnected Ascension sets. It features the beloved mechanics of the Ascension Deckbuilding Game, reimagined to capture the wonder of The Lord of the Rings, from its legendary heroes and villains to the corruption of The One Ring.

The fate of the world hangs by a thread. Will you rally the Free Peoples—Elves, Humans, Dwarves, and Hobbits—or turn toward the Shadow of Mordor? Recruit heroes, acquire powerful cards, and shape your strategy as you build your strength, all while confronting the quiet, ever-present pull of The One Ring. The game is fast to learn and difficult to master; each choice carries weight, and the path to victory is never without cost.

Pledge Manager Deadline

Backers are responsible for completing the pledge manager before the stated deadline and for providing accurate shipping information to ensure successful fulfillment. Reminder notifications will be sent through Gamefound and/or the email address associated with your pledge.

If a backer does not finalize their pledge during the pledge manager period, Stone Blade Entertainment will make up to three follow-up contact attempts by email after the pledge manager has closed. If no response is received within 4 weeks of the final outreach attempt, the pledge will be treated as abandoned.

In such cases, the backer will lose eligibility for all campaign rewards, add-ons, stretch goals, and any other items or benefits offered as part of the campaign by Stone Blade Entertainment. The original pledge amount will be retained and considered a non-refundable contribution to the campaign.

Campaign Communications

Following the campaign, we will keep backers informed through campaign updates. Updates will be shared whenever we have meaningful news or progress to report. During most stages of production, communications will generally be sent on an approximately monthly basis. As the project moves further into production and closer to fulfillment, updates may become less frequent and shift toward major milestones, shipping information, and other important announcements until the games are delivered to backers.

While we regularly review or respond within the comments section, official project information, announcements, and fulfillment-related communication will be provided primarily through campaign updates and direct communication channels.

Changes to Final Products

You acknowledge that the final appearance, specifications, and materials of all pledge reward items are subject to change and may differ materially from what is presented in this campaign.

Use of Backer Email Address

By participating in this campaign, you agree that Stone Blade Entertainment may use your email address to contact you with updates related to this campaign, as well as information about other products, services, or promotions that Stone Blade Entertainment believes may be of interest to you. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time after receiving them.

Acceptance of Terms

By backing this campaign, including any pledge reward or add-on purchase, you acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions outlined above, including but not limited to the sections titled “Shipping,” “Tax, Duties and Tariffs,” “Refunds and Cancellation,” “Risks and Challenges,” and these “Other Terms and Conditions.”
