Le tag « Jeu de plateau » est trop générique : il sera retiré. Jusqu'à 3 tags du site. Le tag STL retire la fiche du catalogue (fichier 3D, pas un jeu). Ensuite plus de modification ici : un mauvais tag se signale.

Introducing The Really Really Fun Game

The Really Really Fun Game is a 4-round team party game where you act, shout and make ridiculous noises to guess cards.

You’ll play the same set of cards across four escalating and chaotic rounds - eventually you're hiding behind your sofa just making bizarre noises - and everyone still knows exactly what card you mean!

If you’ve ever played games like Celebrity you’ll feel right at home – this is a new game with four escalating rounds, ending in even more chaos! Plus, a streamlined ruleset and a unique set of tailored prompts.

We're two friends who have tuned new rules, stress-tested the cards and polished the experience over a decade of play with different groups.

The Four Rounds

[IMAGE HERE] [IMAGE CONTENTS:
Round 1: Anything Goes
Use any words, gestures, or noises - just don’t say the name on the card.

Round 2: Charades
Gestures only. No words, no noises.

Round 3: One Word
Choose one word and stick with it. No gestures, facial expressions or accents. Just that one word, as often (or loudly) as you like.

Round 4: Noises Only
You can’t use real words e.g. "Bang", but sound effects are fair game.

After Round 4, total your scores across all rounds. Highest total wins.

The Name?

We didn’t name it, our players did!

We handed our game to a friend, Megan, to play with her family. They all loved it so much they kept asking to play it again and again!

It didn’t have a name yet, so they just called it:

“The really really fun game.” It stuck.

How is it different from Monikers / Time’s Up!?

We love those games, and The Really Really Fun Game comes from the same “names in a hat/fishbowl” public-domain tradition – but it does a few things differently:

More chaos
We have different rounds including ending in a new noises-only round we've found works great; language completely breaks down and everyone is just honking, squeaking and howling.

Prompts that stretch imagination
Our cards go beyond celebrities and names: everything from A Poison Dart Frog to A Voodoo Doll to The Butterfly Effect. We’ve hand-picked and playtested the deck so it’s actually enjoyable to perform and guess - not just clever trivia, famous people or niche references.

Battle-tested rules
We’ve been running this exact ruleset with different groups for 10+ years – office teams, families, total strangers. It works for all of them.

The Expansions (grab them all!)

For launch, we’re also releasing three themed expansions, each with 100 extra cards:

🎬 Movies Expansion
Iconic films, tropes, characters and cinema clichés.

📼 90s Expansion
A nostalgia bomb of 90s culture, tech, fashion and fads.

🎵 Music Expansion
Bands, songs, instruments, genres and musical moments.

That’s 600 cards total if you go all in – enough to tailor games to your group and play over and over again with fresh cards. They can also make a nice gift for a film or music buff!

Stretch Goals

Our priority is to deliver fast with high quality materials.

So we won't be adding complex new components or performative stretch goals. No artificially "rare boxes", no over-engineered inserts.

Just a game we know will be fun to play.

How to Play

Split into two teams.
With 4–14 players, just keep the teams roughly balanced.

Deal 6 cards to each player.
Keep your cards secret.

Take 30-second turns.
On your turn, flip the timer and get your team to guess as many of your cards as you can.

Score 1 point per correct guess.
Set guessed cards aside as points.

After everyone has had a turn, the round ends.

Add up each team’s points.

Discard any cards no one guessed.

Shuffle the correctly guessed cards and deal them back out.

Play four rounds with new rules each time.
Same cards, different rules, escalating chaos.

Timeline and Shipping

The game is fully finished and playtested with hundreds of players.

We’ve already had sample rounds from our manufacturer, including a full physical copy to test card feel and print quality. Kickstarter is funding the first big print run.

We're using high-quality materials e.g. our cards are printed on 300gsm high-quality stock with rounded edges.

🕒 Now – End of Campaign
Final tweaks based on backer feedback, files prepared for print.

🏭 Late 2025
Manufacturing and quality checks with our printing partner.

🚢 January 2026
Freight shipping to the UK (and US if we get enough interest!).

📦 Estimated delivery to backers: April 2026

We’re a small UK-based indie team, so we’re keeping shipping as fair and transparent as possible - it's coming from my bedroom.

Our current plan is:

UK and EU: Shipped from the UK

USA and Rest of World: Shipped from a US hub if volume allows, otherwise from the UK.

Final shipping prices will be clearly listed on the campaign page and/or pledge manager, and we’ll keep you updated in backer updates if anything changes.

The Really Really Fun Company

We’re Matt and Harry, two friends from London UK who have been playing and refining our version of this classic party format since university.

We’ve already produced and tested physical samples with our manufacturer. We're looking to get our game into its first-edition production run!

We'd be really grateful of you could support our project by picking up a copy for yourself or as a gift!

Matt is a video game designer who has worked on BAFTA-winning games.
Harry is a creative producer who designs and sells his own clothes.

We’ll also be at London Toy Fest 2026, and we’d love to meet backers there in person.
