Salt pays for the walls, the watch and every promise made in this harbor. At the Customs Gatehouse, each incoming cargo must be entered in the ledger. At the Salt Guildhouse, the great merchants decide what that cargo is worth.

Tonight, one page of the ledger is missing. A ship waits beyond the lighthouse, its captain refusing to come ashore. In the Salt Traders’ Tavern, a sealed message changes hands. Beneath the fish market, a boat slips away before the tide turns.

The watch wants order. The guild wants its silver. The smugglers want one clear passage through the harbor. Your adventurers must decide whose account to believe—and what they are willing to carry past the gate.

This Customs Quarter is Salt Harbor’s first chapter. Beyond its streets lies a wider town, ready for stories and future buildings still to come.

PWYW - Treadwheel Crane

Bring Salt Harbor’s working waterfront to life with the Treadwheel Crane, our Pay What You Want reward. Use it as a standalone dockside feature or place it within the Crane Warehouse scene to create a busy cargo-handling area. The Crane Warehouse is a separate Final Stretch Goal reward and is not included in the PWYW tier.

The Complete Quarter includes the Customs Gatehouse, Salt Guildhouse, Salt Traders’ Tavern, Stilt Fishmongers’ House and Dusk Guard Lighthouse. Each location gives your encounters a distinct setting, from public inspection to private deals. Character miniatures are optional add-ons. 

Customs Gatehouse

The Customs Gatehouse makes every arrival an encounter: inspection, negotiation or a hurried escape. Its archway and elevated rooms give a single landmark several roles on your table. Lift-off sections reveal the interior shown in our sample photographs.

Salt Guildhouse

The Salt Guildhouse is the public face of private power. Its raised rooms, archway and exterior stairs suit merchant negotiations, guarded deliveries and tense searches. Separate sections provide access to the interior shown in the photographs.

Salt Traders’ Tavern

The Salt Traders’ Tavern stands where business meets rumor. Stairs, a raised deck and a waterside approach create several ways into an encounter. Use it for a quiet exchange, an ambush or the beginning of a dockside chase. 

Stilt Fishmongers’ House

The Stilt Fishmongers’ House brings the working harbor into view. Its elevated market, timber supports and hanging nets create a distinctive waterside landmark for bargaining, surveillance and illicit exchanges beneath the trading floor. 

Dusk Guard Lighthouse

Start your harbor at the Dusk Guard Lighthouse. A rocky base, winding stairs and elevated lookout create a compact encounter location. 

Stretch Goals

At $5,000, the Crane Warehouse unlocks for Complete Quarter and Lifetime Merchant backers. It is the campaign’s special stretch goal and is currently at the concept-design stage. Modeling and print testing will follow if it unlocks.

Characters Add-ons

Populate the quarter with 19 characters across five groups: guards, pirates, customs officials, black market traders and smugglers. Choose individual groups or the $19 complete character pack. Buildings and characters are separate purchases.

Interiors & Print Proof

Print-tested, rich in detail and optimized for near-support-free printing. Scale the STL files for your preferred mainstream tabletop scale. Small features and support needs depend on print size, orientation and printer settings. 

Open the buildings and bring the action inside. The sample photographs show removable sections of the gatehouse, guildhouse, tavern and lighthouse. Use the actual rooms and approaches to stage searches, conversations and close encounters.

PLAYABLE TERRAIN

Print-tested, rich in detail and optimized for near-support-free printing. Scale the STL files for your preferred mainstream tabletop scale. Small features and support needs depend on print size, orientation and printer settings. 

SUPPORTLESS

The Customs Gatehouse is designed with supportless printing in mind.

The model is currently undergoing final print testing so that printability, structural reliability, fit, and overall file quality can be checked before delivery.

SCALE

The model is designed for 28/32mm tabletop RPGs and skirmish games, making it suitable for fantasy towns, harbor districts, fortified settlements, and waterfront encounters.

The model is designed as more than a single decorative façade.

Stonework, timber framing, balconies, stairs, doors, dock structures, cargo details, hanging lanterns, ropes, barrels, and small architectural features are distributed around the building so that every viewing angle contributes to the scene.
