ThunderCats Subclasses 

The following subclasses are designed for use in any setting, but have their roots built based on characters and plotlines seen in the ThunderCats universe. Characters can be built using any subclass in this or other publications, but when playing ThunderCats adventures, the subclasses below are designed to feel like a perfect fit:

• Path of Collision: A Barbarian of explosive being in motion, shaking the battlefield with sheer force.
• College of Omens: A Bard gifted with Sight Beyond Sight to gain prophetic insight in combat and social encounters.
• Ancient Spirits of Evil and Good Domain: A Cleric who walks the razor's edge of good and evil, granting power to allies or themselves.
• Circle of the Croft: A Druid attuned to unicorns, able to summon their forms with radiant, moonlit magic.
• Operator: A Fighter of adaptability, able to modify weapons and armor to meet any challenge.
• Warrior of the Claw: A Monk like an agile predator, leaping great distances and pouncing with feline ferocity.
• Oath of Destiny: A Paladin oathbound to a path of fate neither they nor their foes can deny.
• Evil-Chaser: A Ranger sworn to hunt evil, striking terror in corrupted hearts.
• Heckler: A Rogue who disorients foes with taunts and cutting wit, leaving enemies frustrated and distracted.
• Metamorphosis Sorcerer: A Sorcerer infused with magical mummification, tapping into unworldly power and transforming into monstrous forms of terrible strength.
• Mongor Patron: A Warlock bound to the demon of fear, channeling and amplifying dread itself.
• Magician: A Wizard of deception, bending space and perception through subtle spellcraft and hidden portals.

Mechanist

The Mechanist, our new class, lives in the hum and hiss of steam, the whir of gears, and the spark of invention. Whether tinkering at camp or sprinting into battle aboard a clanking contraption of their own craft, they are always at work, endlessly adjusting, refining, and experimenting with their apparatus. This intricate blend of technology and ingenuity serves as both weapon and tool, shaped for combat, exploration, and utility alike. Each device reflects its creator, from rideable, vehicle-like marvels to mobile constructs, and every Mechanist's apparatus is as distinctive and stylized as the inventor who built it.

A Mechanist uses ingenuity to tip the odds. They retool their gear, swap functions, deploy mechanical apparatuses, and adapt to the moment's need. Their greatest triumphs come not through brute force, but through clever design. 

They use what they can efficiently and effectively, but always strive for improvement of their designs. Every battle leaves them wiser, their blueprints refined, and their next version already taking shape. In a world of spells and swords, the mechanist shapes the future by pushing pistons, wiring circuits, and dreaming of the perfect invention.

Production Status

The game is fully designed and written — ready for print!
Once this campaign concludes, the book will go immediately to press. Printing begins by the end of January 2026, with shipping scheduled to start by the end of February 2026.

Adventures will be tailored to Tier 1, 2 and 3 play. Meaning we will cover the broad strokes of ever level from 1 - 20.

Character Sheet Pack

Six Sides of Gaming Instagram

Additionally, we're thrilled to announce that the crew at Six Sides of Gaming will be playing Dungeons and Dragons 2024 in a special thematic one-shot game. This will be a great chance to see some of the game's mechanics demonstrated in an exciting and immersive way. We'll be sharing details on the design philosophy as well as Q&A's with the design team. Stream Schedule

We will be streaming a Q&A with the principal designer Tommy Gofton of Lynnvander December 9, 2:30pm eastern for 1-2 hours. You can ask any questions about the design process. 

We will also be streaming Wednesday at 6:30pm eastern our regular long-form actual play game, where designer Tommy Gofton is playing the new class "The Mechanist!" 

We will announce more of our stream schedule shortly including some actual play of the Thundercats and some samples of the classes and species!
