"The Voyage - Search for Yamagi" is the second part/game of the Yamagi Saga, following "The FOG - Escape from Paradise".
"The FOG became quicker and quicker once it hit the huge beach. We saw many of our fellow Islander vanish into The FOG when they were quickly overtaken, while we at the same time - in pure panic - prepared the boats for depearture as best and quickly as possible. We set sail at the last possible moment in the desperate attempt to give as many as possible the chance to reach our boat in time. Once we set sail we gave it everything we had to take up speed in the very short time we had until The FOG would overtake us as well.
With luck and somehow the feeling, that The FOG lost just the tiny bit of speed we needed once it hit the water, we and so many other boats did barely but finally manage to escape The FOG and hit the open waters. For over half a day we kept on pressing forward as hard as possible, always straight towards East, with this perilous and monstrous threat just behind us, but with a growing distance towards it.
Once sure we had outrun The FOG and with enough distance between it and us we finally started to assess our situation concerning boat status, injuries, food supplies, clothing and more while we still tried to cope with what had just happened this last day and wondering who of those we love has made it and who has not.
With the boats closest to us we even tried to communicate as good as possible, while we did not dare to stop fully for quite some time though. The assessment showed, that many boats were not yet in a state to endure such a long and hard voyage with so much uncertainty. The food was limited to a few days at most in addition. We all discussed on how to handle the situation and the voyage best."
In The Voyage you will be responsible for several boats and their crews on their way to search for Yamagi. You will have to make decisions on which path they shall sail to find waypoints according to their ancient lores and hopefully also some magic stones to help along the way to Yamagi. You also will have to manage food supplies and motivation to make sure the boats will manage the trip.
Will you be able to lead your boats to safety to their long lost home Yamagi somewhere to the East, according to the ancient lores and legends handed down over time?
A long and enduring adventure awaits you!
