Tide of the Drowned God - Cthulhu Cosmic Horror Miniatures
Par Cosmondo
Statut actuel
40 cosmic horror miniatures. 32 mm. STL files.
A complete 1920s cast: the cult, the things it worships, and the people who walk in to stop it. Built as one ensemble, not a bag of loose models.
WHAT YOU GET
40 miniatures at 32 mm, delivered as STL files for home printing.
Cultists, monsters and investigators - a whole town's worth of trouble, designed to stand together on the same table.
Pre-supported files and test prints are part of the plan, and we will show them on this page as they are finished. We are not claiming them yet.
YOU CHOOSE THE WORLD
Five worlds are researched, written and drawn. We only have the hands to open one of them first - so we are not the ones picking it. You are.
Saltmarrow, 1924 - a grey whaling town on the rim of a trench, and the tide is rising.
The Black Flood, 1928 - the lower Louisiana delta breaks its banks, and something walks in with the water.
The Black Pharaoh, 1925 - Cairo and the Nile, where a solar death-cult tends a sleeping king.
The Mouth of the World, 1927 - a descent into the volcanic underworld that returns you less human.
The Drowned Choir, 1925 - New Orleans, carnival masks, and a cult that sings the black water higher.
Rank your three. The one you rank first is the one we sculpt first.
WHY 32 MM
Because these belong on a table, not behind glass. It is the scale most cosmic horror games are already played at, and it is the scale a cult works best in: you need a crowd, and a crowd has to be printable.
HOW IT REACHES YOU
Digital STL files, delivered after the campaign through our pledge manager. Print them at home, as many times as you like, for your own table.
WHO WE ARE
Cosmondo is a small studio. We research a world, write its cast, draw it, sculpt it and ship the files. This is the first ensemble we have ever opened to a public vote, because we would rather build the one you want than the one we guessed.
RISKS AND CHALLENGES
The cast is researched and designed, but not yet sculpted. Sculpting forty miniatures takes time, and the honest risk here is the calendar rather than the work itself. We will post progress on this page as it happens, including the parts that go wrong.
