Below are some photos of the most recent sample prototypes we have received from the factory. Please keep in mind these are not production manufactured, so some variances from final are to be expected. These are here for additional photos to give you a better real life feel instead of just the renders in the component graphics above.

Civilization tiles. Top (wooden), middle (acrylic), and bottom (cardboard).

Civilization tiles to show the difference in thickness: Cardboard (left), Acrylic (middle), and Wood (right). Cardboard and acrylic are similar with acrylic only being slightly thicker, while the wood is about twice as thick as the acrylic version.

Leader wooden pieces, same in all editions.

Ziggurats are the same in all editions. These are actually made from multiple different individual pieces of wood to create the stair overlapping effects.

The wonder, unification, catastrophes, and civil buildings are all wood and the same in all versions. Also shown are the wooden version of the treasures which are only found in the standard.

Metal version of the treasures (left) and the wooden tray for organizing your scoring tokens. The trays fit behind the player screen for privacy. The 1s and 5s are also shown with the 5s being thicker and gold painted. These pieces will only fit in their designated rows for easy sorting and provide a quick visual look at how you are lining up on accumulation of each type. Everything shown here is only available in the two deluxe versions.

This shows the wooden tiles and wooden tray with treasures behind the current prototype sample of the player screen so you can see the components fit. This prototype is solid white as it's the most recent version we made during component testing, obviously the final will be printed with art on it. The "roof" piece will be reversible double sided, one with just art and the other side with a player aid for those who want to use it.
