Timeline: The Board Game
Par Wagging Tales
Statut actuel

- This is a work of 1.75 persons - my lovely wife is helping with the visual design of the project and its contents and playtesting is lead by a trusted friend - although we are doing everything in our power to make a quality game, none of us is a designer, graphic artist or a publisher. Any and all feedback is welcome and appreciated.
- As of now, the layout and icons we use are either a product of our own work, or publicly sourced. The actual illustrations used as backgrounds or card images are AI generated, but allow me to address this topic right here and now: as a programmer with a background in AI studies, I am aware of both how the gen-AI works and what impact on our life and society it has made. I cannot and will not approve AI models using the work of artists without their knowledge and permission, and I despise people doing just that. With that in mind, as passionate craftsman as I am, I do not have the resources to acquire high quality art pieces in the quantity needed for a project of this scope at this point in time. That is precisely why I made sure to only use models created using either licenced or publicly available art (namely chat GPT's DALL-E model), and if I am shown otherwise, I am fully prepared to replace any affected images. Furthermore, if the project is indeed funded and the demand is high enough to allow me to employ an actual artist, I would have no problem with substituting all AI art with genuine, human-grown images.
