Tom the Toad, a Dice Roller Microgame

We are two brothers who grew up playing games with our 5 other siblings. Now, each with kids of our own, we see the value games have in bringing people, especially families, together. Above all, we hope Tom the Toad strengthens relationships.

We know that microgames are increasing in popularity for their portability, affordability, and convenience. Tom the Toad is meant to provide all of those things without sacrificing the fun of a regular tabletop game. We see this as a great choice when looking for something light or as an option to fill in downtime when at events.

The board game industry is facing real global supply chain problems right now. We'd like to help solve the problem instead of adding to the problem. As such, we've invested in manufacturing equipment and we plan to produce these games in-house from our homes in Iowa. As we develop our capabilities, we'd like to keep all of our publishing in-house and even expand to provide manufacturing resources for other American board game designers. By keeping our manufacturing local, we believe we can help mitigate the risk preventing many would-be designers from creating games. We both work in manufacturing for our professional careers and we are confident in our ability to build these successfully.
