You already know what a good Pilates flow feels like. What you need is something that works in a hotel room, on your living room floor, or in a 15 minute gap between calls. No subscription, no login, no screen telling you what to do.

That's Tone: a pocket-size deck of Pilates cards you can throw in a bag and pull out anywhere.

How It Works

Tone is 40 Pilates-inspired exercise cards. Every card gives you a move with three difficulty levels (easy, medium, hard) and the suggested reps or hold time for each move. Scan the QR code and you'll get a short video demo so you can check your form.

Shuffle, draw, and build a flow. Five cards for a quick reset, fifteen for a longer session. No fixed sequence, no "right" workout to fall behind on, and a new workout every time you open the box.

Every card back is one of five shades that represents a different target area: core, glutes, upper body, lower body, and stretch. Shuffle the whole deck for a random flow, or pull specific shades for a focused session.

Never the Same Flow Twice

Two types of modifier cards add additional variability to your workout. Draw Repeat & Refine and run your flow again but slower with more focus on form. Add Repeat & Elevate to your sequence and do the harder version of every move your second time around. Between 40 exercise cards, three difficulty levels, five target areas, and two ways to re-run a flow, you can build hundreds of new workouts every time you pull these cards.

Our Story

I'm a part time fitness instructor who spends half the year fully nomadic with my fiance, James. This means inconsistent schedules and no gym waiting for us wherever we land that week. On top of that, I have a full-time fully remote job managing a distributed team, so my days don't run 9 to 5. I started writing my own exercises on index cards and creating my own flows just to keep something consistent in my bag. I designed them to be minimalistic, welcoming, and something I'd want to pick up everyday. I then road tested that exact deck on myself in an Airbnb in Norway, a layover in Tokyo, and a hotel in New Zealand.

That index card stack became the Tone deck in front of you now.
