Votre nation est dirigée par une dynastie, et si vous avez des filles et des fils à marier, tant mieux pour vous. On peut même mener un raid contre un autre joueur afin d’enlever sa fille ! Le combat est simple, et la règle du débordement est peut-être un peu trop puissante. Il existe un jeu complémentaire intitulé « Troy », qui traite du siège de Troie.

Hello, My name is Darragh Gill. I am the creator of "Traders and Raiders: Vikings!" and hopefully the future creator of the wider Traders and Raiders franchise. At the time of writing this (Early September 2023) the project is the result of a 6 week hyperfixation heavily grounded in an authentic approach to ancient Irish history that we never get to see.

TLDR: "Traders and Raiders: Vikings!" is a board game rooted in an authentic approach to ancient Irish history, immersing players in the Viking Age of 846AD. The game features 100 hidden tiles, Three distinct terrains, and a coin-flip mechanic for trading and raiding, fostering a competitive and historically rich experience.

"Traders and Raiders: Vikings!" is a board game that invites you into the heart of the Viking Age in Ireland of 846AD. We've crafted a world where you assume the role of a Gaelic-Norse chieftain, navigating an uncharted map comprising 100 hidden tiles. With each turn, you reveal a new piece of the landscape. 100 tiles with 1000's of combinations so no 2 games are ever the same, leaving you in the dark at the start of every game until you begin exploring.

The map is divided into Three distinct terrains - Water, Land, and Settlements. Your aim is to amass 200 silver pennies, either through trading with settlements or through raids. As you sail your longboats, you draw Weather cards on water tiles and Event cards on land tiles, around every turn there's a chance you can lose everything.

Risk is your constant companion. You begin the game with 3 ships. Upon encountering a settlement, you can opt for trade or raid. Raiding promises substantial rewards but comes fraught with danger. A simple coin flip determines your fate. Succeed, and you gain 20 pennies, slaves and 6 resource tiles; fail, and you lose a ship. If you lose all your ships, you're out of the game.
