Three Machines. One Fighting Mind.

TRIADS is a turn-based tactical mech combat game where positioning, teamwork, and battlefield decisions determine victory.

On the war-torn world of Bengall II, two opposing armies clash for control of a strategically vital planet. The invading Oryius forces seek to break through the planet's defenses, while the defenders of Bengall II fight to protect their cities from invasion.

At the heart of the conflict is a revolutionary military technology: cybernetically linked combat mechs operating in teams of three, known as Triads.

Each mech can fight independently, but when its pilots coordinate their attacks through their cybernetic connections, the entire team becomes a formidable fighting force.

Players command three Triads, each containing three mechs, choosing from six distinct classes:

Scout: Fast, agile units designed for flanking maneuvers.

Warrior: Versatile frontline fighters that form the backbone of an army.

Omega: Heavy combat machines capable of devastating attacks.

Jump: Highly mobile specialists that can leap over battlefield obstacles.

Launcher: Long-range fire-support units.

Command: Tactical leaders that improve battlefield initiative.

The composition of your force is entirely up to you. Will you rely on speed and maneuverability, overwhelming firepower, or a balanced combination of both?

Every Decision Matters

TRIADS rewards tactical thinking rather than simply assembling the most powerful machines.

Coordinate multiple mechs to combine their firepower against a single target. Maneuver behind an enemy to exploit its vulnerable rear armor. Take advantage of terrain, control critical firing positions, and choose when to advance or hold your ground.

But beware: the same cybernetic connections that make your Triads so powerful can cause dangerous feedback when linked mechs move too close together.

The strongest army doesn't always win. The best commander does.

From Tabletop Origins to Digital Combat

TRIADS began as a tabletop strategy game designed by James Eisert and published by Powercell Games.

The goal was to create a mech combat system that was easy to learn but offered meaningful tactical depth through movement, facing, force selection, and coordinated attacks.

Now, TRIADS is being developed into a digital game, bringing the tabletop experience to life with an interactive battlefield, animated combat, sound effects, and computer-assisted gameplay.

The digital version builds upon the original design while preserving the strategic choices that make TRIADS unique.

Help Bring TRIADS to Life

This Kickstarter campaign is an opportunity to support the continued development and release of TRIADS.

As an independent game designer, my goal is to create a tactical strategy game that respects the player's intelligence, rewards good decisions, and provides the kind of replayability that keeps you coming back for another battle.

Whether you're a fan of classic hex-and-counter wargames, tabletop strategy games, or turn-based computer games, TRIADS is being designed with you in mind.

Join us on the battlefield of Bengall II.

Follow this Kickstarter campaign to receive updates, learn about upcoming rewards, and be among the first to know when the campaign launches.

Thank you for supporting independent game development.
