TRIVIROLL

Triviroll is a tabletop card game that tests your brain skills and judgment with probability. We are raising funds because we want this game to go viral. We want adults to play this game, test their knowledge, and compete with one another. The game is good for college students, couples, adult friends, and others.

How to Play

Age Range: 18+

Number of Players: 2-4

Setup:

Set up the game as shown above. The game comes with:

-2 dice (1 extra)

-6 figurines (2 extra)

-hundreds of trivia cards

-1 game board

-hundreds of chips with values of 1,5,10, and 20

Note: Final Product may look different from photos above.

Steps:

1)    Once game is setup, every player is given a figurine and chips with a value of 100:

2 20s, 3 10s, 4 5s, and 10 1s.

2)   Each player places a bet up to 100 with the values of the coins.

3)   Player 1 rolls the die.

Based on the number on the die, player has to place his figurines on the board with the die number and do the following:
 

-This is a blank space. Player loses his bet and puts chips back in the box.

-This is a blank space. Player loses his bet and puts chips back in the box.
 

-This is a trivia space. Player must answer a trivia question in under 30 seconds in order to get THREE TIMES his bet. If player does not guess correctly, player loses and puts chips back in the box.         

-This is a blank space. Player loses his bet and puts chips back in the box.   

-This is a DOUBLE space. Player earns double his wager in chips from the box.

  -This is a blank space. Player loses his bet and puts chips back in the box.

4)    Now player 2 rolls the dice and completes the tasks based on what the die lands on. If there are 3 or 4 players, the next players will do the same.

5)   Now the second round of betting begins. The process is repeated as shown above, but there is an exception if a player lands on the same number twice. For example, if a player lands on 1 twice, he would NOT lose his bet. If any player lands on the same die number twice, these are the following tasks:

-This is a DOUBLE space. Player earns double his wager in chips from the box.

-This is a trivia space. Player must answer a trivia question in under 30 seconds in order to get THREE TIMES his bet. If player does not guess correctly, player loses and puts chips back in the box.         

-This is a blank space. Player loses his bet and puts chips back in the box.

-This is a trivia space. Player must answer a trivia question in under 30 seconds in order to get THREE TIMES his bet. If player does not guess correctly, player loses and puts chips back in the box.         

-This is a blank space. Player loses his bet and puts chips back in the box.

This is a FIVE TIMES space. Player earns five times his wager in chips from the box.

6) The game now continues until all the players have bet for the second time. If a player lands on the same number THREE times, then the player would just go back to the original values. For example, if a player rolls a 5 three times, he would earn DOUBLE his wager. The doubles board is only for players who rolls the same number twice, four times, six times, etc.

7) The game continues for 10 rounds, until only one person has chips left, or whenever you as players decide to end. Whenever you decide to stop the game, count the value and number of chips for each player to decide the winner.

EXAMPLE ROUND 1

Player 1  starts at 100 and bets 5, rolls a 1

Player 2 starts at 100 and bets 10, rolls a 3

Player 1 loses his bet and has to ask player 2 a question. Example trivia card with question and answer:

Player 2 guessed the question correctly under 30 seconds and won 30 value chips. Player 1 now has 95 and Player 2 has 130.

EXAMPLE ROUND 2

Player 1  has 95 and bets 10, rolls a 1 again

Player 2 has 130 and bets 20, rolls a 6

Now player 1 doubles his bet and has 115, while player 2 loses and has 110.

The game continues for 10 rounds or until someone loses all their chips.
