Why Uncharted Skies? 🔭

Uncharted Skies is a 2-4 player game where players take the roles of astronomers trying to navigate an ever changing night sky. It introduces a new way to play tile games and favors both strategy for experienced board game players, but is also friendly to newer ones. 

Being a game that takes less than a few minutes to set up, and plays in about 30 minutes, it is the perfect game to slot in between those longer, bulkier ones. With nearly an infinite number of variables, no two games will ever be the same making each and every play exciting and new!

Evolution of the Game ⭐

Development for Uncharted Skies started in October of 2025 with the first edition of the game being completed in November. The game was tested thoroughly by family and friends to great review.

Production of a more realistic concept followed those initial play throughs in mid-November and culminated in the second edition of the game being completed in December. The first Kickstarter for the project was launched that month, but due to the large manufacturing cost, failed to meet the goal and was canceled.

This all has resulted in a newer and better version, most notably the artwork with illustration by Mariam Keina. The current edition stands as a testament to guaranteed and constant improvement by the developer with the commitment to continue improving for a better product for each and every backer.

What's Next For Uncharted Skies? 🚀

The first of two planned expansions that focuses on board strategy and new abilities. Pesky asteroids have infiltrated earth's gravity, lucky for us, they haven't began raining down yet but they ARE giving us terrible views of the constellations (even worse!). It's up to you and your fellow astronomers to remain on task and discover those constellations. With newly introduced abilities and an added bonus system, it's sure to be an out of this world time!

The second of two planned expansions that focuses on hand strategy and even more new abilities. We're traveling all the way back to when none of these constellations had names. It's up to you and your fellow astronomers to complete those "constellation cards", the first player to discover five of a single constellation claims it, being its"first discoverer". Get enough of these chips and you automatically win the game (neat right)? But if no one can get to that first discovery goal, it goes back to old school points.

Asteroids Astray and First Discoverers can be played both separately and together making for some intense and fun games! Support this Kickstarter of the game so that these expansions might come to be!
