Viva La Dungeon!

Viva La Dungeon! is a competitive fantasy battle royale board game of loot, luck, betrayal, and rapidly shrinking safety.

Each player takes on the role of a normal everyday fantasy citizen entering the dungeon under the blessing of a powerful Patron. The promise is simple: treasure beyond measure for the last contestant left alive. Players begin in separate rooms, then race to loot chests, gather weapons, armor, and magic items, hide from rivals, steal from backpacks, take ranged shots through doorways, or start fights through ambushes and challenges.

Turns are built around two actions, such as moving, looting, hiding, pickpocketing, attacking, or engaging zombies. Most risky moments are resolved with d20 checks using character stats such as Brawn, Quickness, Vitality, Intellect, and Charm. Players also manage Kaos, a limited resource that can be spent to push rolls higher or break normal action limits at just the right moment.

The dungeon itself is not passive. At the end of each player’s turn, a Dungeon Bomb card is drawn, unleashing traps, strange events, global effects, and escalating danger. As the game progresses, Cube tokens begin to invade the map, making rooms increasingly deadly and forcing players out of hiding and into conflict.

Viva La Dungeon! combines arena combat, push-your-luck dice rolling, tactical positioning, hidden threats, loot-driven character growth, and direct player conflict in a chaotic dungeon contest where every door could lead to treasure, betrayal, or becoming one of the Dungeon's newest zombies!
