From the creator of Burgle Bros comes a new co-op challenge. Walkable City takes Quacks-style bag-building and turns it into a crunchy urban planning puzzle.
Stop watching your city fail at urban design and actually do something about it. In Walkable City, you aren’t maximizing profits. You are building something meaningful: a fair, accessible, and vibrant transit grid that residents actually want to live in.
This isn’t a cooperative game where everyone just watches the alpha player. In Walkable City, your transit modes have conflicting limitations. The Light Rail isn't nimble, but the Bikes aren't long range. You have to communicate, plan together, and synchronize your asymmetrical turns to solve the city’s complex puzzles.
Every round, you pull tokens from your custom transit bag. Build too aggressively, and you risk a local pushback that erodes public trust. Can you master the probabilities to connect the grid?

The Four Players are Four Different Modes of Transport
- Light Rail - Very fast, but must build from the ends of their track. Also can't turn very often.
- Buses - Two buses to cover different parts of the city. Each one must grow from the end of their routes.
- Bikes - Flexible and can help fill gaps all over the board, but must connect to certain locations.
- Walking - Also flexible placement, but limited to certain neighborhoods.
Here is designer Taylor Shuss with a quick overview:
Solo Mode
Walkable City will have a solo mode that takes all of the best parts of the game and allows it to work for one player. You'll get to play as many modes of transit as you want - following their rules as in a multiplayer game. The difference is that you will have a passenger per mode of transit to handle, and one bag with all your tokens in it. In the solo mode you might have turns where one mode of transit expands greatly and another doesn't make much progress but in a future turn that can easily flip.
A walkable city is a city built for people first. It's a place where people can get around via walking, cycling, and public transit for their regular needs: groceries, stores & even their commute. In a walkable city people aren't forced to be dependent on cars, instead it's just one option among many.
