War Shield: 7-in-1 Magnetic Metal Dice

In the wars of the future, every piece of equipment serves more than a single purpose.

A shield is not only a soldier's protection—it is also a badge of identity on the battlefield. It evolves alongside its unit through modular upgrades and adapts instantly to changing combat situations.

We wanted to bring this concept of modular battlefield equipment into tabletop gaming, and that vision became War Shield.

War Shield is not a conventional dice. It is a tactical device built around an industrial mechanical structure. Two precision-crafted metal shields connect magnetically to form a single unit, housing all seven standard RPG dice within one compact system. Thanks to its modular design, faceplates, emblems, and numbered dials can all be replaced, allowing countless combinations of colors and styles to create equipment worthy of your own faction.

Whether it belongs aboard an interstellar fleet, a mechanized battlefield, a post-apocalyptic wasteland, or an epic war campaign, War Shield feels less like a dice and more like genuine tactical equipment brought directly from the battlefield.

Magnetic Modular System

The magnetic modular system was carefully engineered with three primary goals:

• 1. Unlimited Customization

Every magnetic component can be removed and replaced. Paint, customize, or swap individual parts to create your own unique battlefield style and match the identity of your army or faction.

• 2. More Ways to Play

War Shield can separate into two independent halves whenever needed.

One half contains the D6, D10, and D20, while the other contains the D4, D8, and D12, giving you quicker access during gameplay while introducing an entirely new way to use your dice.

• 3. Magnetic Display

After being separated, each half can attach securely to any steel surface through its built-in magnetic structure, making War Shield equally suitable as a display piece when it is not in use.

Engineered for Reliable Performance

A unique mechanical design only matters if it performs consistently during actual gameplay.

We refined the internal structure through multiple rounds of prototyping and testing to ensure stable and reliable operation.

Below are the actual steel molds used to produce the individual components of the War Shield dice. Every part is mass-produced using these molds, which are precisely engraved with high-accuracy machining equipment.

After the rough component blanks are formed, each piece undergoes detailed surface polishing before moving on to the next coloring and finishing process.

Clear Pointer Identification

Each side features three individual pointers, and every pointer is clearly labeled with its corresponding dice type. This prevents reading errors when switching between different dice.

Controlled Rotation

By carefully adjusting the engagement angle of the central locking mechanism, we introduced precisely tuned resistance to the internal bearing, allowing each pointer to stop smoothly instead of spinning continuously.

Stable on Any Table

Additional rotational damping and optimized pointer dimensions minimize the effects of uneven tabletops and minor environmental influences, ensuring dependable performance during every game session.

Precision Engineering

The entire War Shield was designed using Rhino, a professional industrial CAD software.

Rhino allows us to precisely control every internal dimension, ensuring perfect alignment between bearings, magnets, and structural components. This level of accuracy is essential for manufacturing a product with such a complex mechanical structure.

Every major component uses a magnetic attachment system, allowing parts to be replaced within seconds.

Choose your preferred primary body color, then add different numbered dials through optional add-ons to create your own personalized combination.

For the ultimate customization experience, we recommend collecting the complete dial set. With only a small additional cost, you'll unlock virtually every possible color combination and create a truly unique War Shield.

We have also added replaceable number dials for the inner rotor with higher color saturation. These two colors use a different coloring process, with a spray-plated paint finish, so we have listed them separately.
