Wildhavens est un jeu asymétrique de contrôle de territoire qui simule l’évolution d’espèces uniques et fantastiques à travers plusieurs époques, chacune définie par un scénario extraordinaire qui lui est propre. La population de votre espèce doit rivaliser avec celle des autres joueurs pour prospérer dans l’un des nombreux écosystèmes en constante évolution de Wildhavens. Vous devez vous nourrir pour survivre, mais cela ne s'avérera pas toujours facile. Votre espèce devra sans cesse se déplacer et s'adapter pour faire face aux défis permanents de chaque nouvelle ère et aux diverses stratégies de vos adversaires. Il sera peut-être possible de vivre en harmonie avec vos voisins, ou bien ceux-ci pourraient bien tenter de faire de vous leur repas habituel. Que vous viviez de la terre en tant qu’herbivore ou que vous chassiez vos adversaires en tant que carnivore, chacune des dizaines d’espèces possède ses propres traits et comportements uniques. Establish your dominance, and make the Wildhavens your home!

Thrown into an extraordinary alien world, you must take control of your species' evolutionary progression to survive! Compete for natural resources as an Herbivore or savagely hunt your opponents as a Carnivore.

You must eat to survive, but that will not always prove to be a simple task. Your species will need to constantly move and adapt in response to the constant challenges of each new era and the various adaptations of your opponents. It may be possible to live in harmony with your neighbors, or they might try to make you their regular meal. Whether you live off the land as an herbivore or hunt your opponents as a carnivore, each of the dozens of species possesses its own unique traits and behaviors.

The game is played across one of many different Havens, each offering their own exotic scenarios and defining events, ensuring that each game is a new and exciting experience.
