Wondrous Cats is the third in our series of living magic-item Kickstarters, following Wondrous Songbirds and Scarabs & More. These aren't familiars or animal companions. They're magical treasures that heroes can bond with and attune to—although these treasures have paws, personalities, and opinions of their own.

Each cat offers its own magical abilities, useful tricks, and peculiar quirks. Some might help explore a forgotten ruin. Others protect their chosen hero, notice things everyone else misses, or perform some strange little miracle at exactly the right moment.

They're useful. They're magical. They're still cats.

Why Cats?

Because the wizard's tower probably has a cat.

Because something has been living in the dungeon that isn't a monster.

Because not every treasure needs to sit quietly in your backpack.

And because if cats existed in a world filled with ancient magic, fey crossings, haunted ruins, and forgotten gods, there's no chance they'd remain ordinary.
