Le tag « Jeu de plateau » est trop générique : il sera retiré. Jusqu'à 3 tags du site. Le tag STL retire la fiche du catalogue (fichier 3D, pas un jeu). Ensuite plus de modification ici : un mauvais tag se signale.

Ye Vile Game of YARRR is the perfect tavern game to play when your dressed up like a pyrate for a renfaire, convention, or LARP. It's designed to be portable, and it's easy to teach, so it's the ideal companion whether your camping in a national park or chilling in the Caribbean.

Eagle-eyed game enthusiasts may spot inspiration taken from The Royal Game of Ur, but this Vile Game stands out from its parent in three important ways:

1. The path the pieces take is more interesting than in the original game, and the location of safe spaces allows for the infamous Jamaican Stand-Off, a mini-game of chicken in which rival captains stare each other down.

2. The Vile Game has lots of cool pyrate Jolly Rogers on it.

3. In the Vile Game, players get to shout YARRR!

The contest is framed as a competition between two infamous captains, Basil Drake of the Pride of Bedlam and Master 'Bones' Jangle of the Voodoo Island Cannibals--which are the two pyrate bands that Catgut, the game's designer, plays fiddle with. The coins that it uses as binary dice have the Jolly Rogers of the two crews on them.

Okay, the nitty-gritty:

This will never be a mass-market game, and it's not meant to be. The game designer will be hand-making and hand-assembling each and every game set. The boards, cloth pouches, dice trays, and tee-shirts will be pressed by Catgut; the ships will be 3D printed by a renfaire pyrate; and the coins have been custom-made by coinsmiths in Japan. The first hundred sets will be numbered and autographed. After the crowdfunding campaign ends, sets will become band merch for the two crews.
