Project Overview:

The YM Earth is a 3D printable scale model of a chemical and oil container ship designed for maritime enthusiasts, 3D printing hobbyists, and model builders. This detailed and customizable model offers a blend of education and creativity, giving you the chance to create your own realistic ship using your 3D printer.

Detailed 3D Printable .STL Files with printed dimensions measuring (550 mm Long x 216 mm High x 104 mm Wide). Approximately a foot and a half long.

170 different easy to assemble parts including; segmented hull and super-structure and cabin.

What you will need:

• Super Glue for assembly
• Paper Clips (0.8 - 1.0 mm Steel Rod) for fitting removable parts
• Paints (optional) for finishing and detail to the build.
  The best paints to use are artists acrylic paints or matt-finish enamel paints and any varnish and best applied after assembly of parts.

• Download: After the project is funded, you’ll receive the updated STL files via email.
• Print: Use your 3D printer to bring the YM Earth to life.
• Assemble: Easily follow the detailed instructions to assemble your ship.

• Week 5-6: Begin distributing files to backers.
• Week 5-6: Backers begin printing, with community support and guidance throughout.
