Original Edition (4th Printing): The beloved gold foil deck with keywords on every card returns, with Japanese and English on every card. Easy to read from day one, and just as fun as a communication game with friends.

オリジナル・エディション（第4刷）： キーワード入りの金の箔押しデッキが再登場。全カード日英併記です。手にしたその日から読みやすく、友人とのコミュニケーションツールとしても盛り上がります。

Celestial Edition: No keywords. Designed for intuitive readers, seasoned practitioners, and collectors. Features borderless artwork that runs to the card edge, with dazzling silver iridescent holographic foil, and an English title hand-lettered by me on each card, blending warmly into the artwork. The Celestial Edition is a new kind of tarot that erases the line between "cute" and "serious."
Both editions come as a full 78-card deck.

Whichever edition you choose, every pledge includes a full 78-card tarot deck (Major and Minor Arcana) and a bilingual Digital Art Book & Guidebook (EN/JP, PDF). Pledges that include both editions come with one that covers both.

That desire, for something that was cute, but also easy enough for anyone to read from day one, is reflected in this deck’s details. Take the Wheel of Fortune card. The mythical creatures typically drawn in the four corners of the Rider-Waite version can be hard to read at a glance. I went further back, to Visconti-era decks and older paintings, and brought back the Wheel of Fortune goddess, a figure that faded from tarot over the centuries. Placed in the four corners are the elements themselves, before they take shape. 「かわいくて、初めてでもすぐ占える」という思いは、細部にも表れています。たとえば「運命の輪」のカード。一般的なウェイト版に描かれる四隅の神話的な生き物は、実は初めて見る人には意味がつかみにくいモチーフです。私は歴史をさらに遡り、ヴィスコンティ版や古い絵画の伝統の中で、時代とともに描かれなくなっていった「運命の女神」を主役に据え直しました。四隅にあしらったのは、まだ形になる前の「元素そのもの」。

The World card then reveals the answer. The same motifs depicted in the four corners of The Wheel of Fortune are now portrayed as the four elements: Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles, which are now manifested into something we can hold. From the random forces of fate, to the power to shape one’s own destiny, here likes a narrative that extends from the Wheel to the World. その答え合わせは、「世界」のカードで訪れます。運命の輪で描かれた同じ四隅のモチーフが、今度はワンド・カップ・ソード・ペンタクルという、人間が扱える形に具現化した四元素として描かれているのです。運命という偶然の力から、自分の手で形にする力へ。運命の輪から世界へと続く、ひとつの物語がここにあります。

For the Temperance card, I drew inspiration from the Marseille tradition, deliberately keeping the contrasting colors, red and blue, distinctly separate. Things that are different still coexist within a person. I illustrated it so that this “harmony in diversity” comes across just by looking at the image.「節制」のカードでは、マルセイユ版の伝統を参照しながら、赤と青という対立する2色をあえてはっきり分けて描きました。異なるものが、それでも同じ一人の中に共存している。その「違いのままの調和」が、絵を見ただけで伝わるように描いています。

For every card, I researched its meaning carefully, studied it in depth, and then drew it so that anyone could find it cute and understand it right away.一枚一枚のカードの意味を丁寧に調べ、深く理解したうえで、誰が見てもすぐにわかる、かわいくてシンプルな絵柄になるよう描きました。

That same care went into this new step. Yuru Tarot has helped many beginners find their way into tarot. But along the way, professional readers started reaching out with a request: a version without keywords.

その丁寧さは、今回の新しい一歩にも通じています。ゆる占いは、これまで多くの初心者の方に、タロットの入り口として使っていただいてきました。そんな中で、プロの占い師の方たちからもリクエストをいただくようになりました。「キーワードのない版が欲しい」と。

So this time, I decided to remove everything. Not just the keywords, but the borders as well. My original compositions were designed with borders in mind, so once I pushed the artwork all the way to the edge, and the background ran short for every one of the 78 cards. I then extended them all, drawing a little more on each card.

そのリクエストにお応えして、さらに今回は、思い切って全部なくしてみることにしました。キーワードだけでなく、フチも。もともとの構図はフチがある前提だったので、フチいっぱいまで広げると、78枚すべてで背景が足りなくなりました。全部、ちょっとずつ描き足しています。

This is the Celestial Edition. The same cozy, kawaii, easy-to-read artwork, now with a world that stretches beyond the border.

こうしてできあがったのが、セレスティアル・エディションです。ゆるくてかわいい、読み取りやすい絵柄のまま、その世界が、フチの外まで広がったデッキです。

This is an overview of all the pledges from the single deck to the full collection. Japan shipping (¥600) is included in every pledge; shipping for other countries is charged after the campaign (see each reward for details). The Celestial Edition will retail for ¥8,800 (including Japan shipping) after the campaign, so any bundle that includes it is an even better deal.

I've run four Kickstarter campaigns before this one, and every single one was successfully funded and shipped to backers. My previous tarot campaign shipped to over 200 backers across 10+ countries, all packed and sent by hand.
I've been a professional game designer for over 20 years. Yuru Tarot has always lived at the intersection of "fun" and "seriousness", and this campaign continues that same promise: made with care, and delivered to you.

4回のKickstarterプロジェクト、すべて完遂。これまでに4回、Kickstarterでプロジェクトを実施してきました。そのすべてが資金調達に成功し、支援者の皆様のもとへ、無事にお届けしています。前回のタロットプロジェクトでは、200名を超える方、10か国以上に、一つひとつ手作業で梱包・発送しました。ゲームデザイナーとして20年以上のキャリアを積んできましたが、ゆる占いはいつも「楽しさ」と「本気」の交差点にありました。今回も、同じ約束から始まります。丁寧に作り、きちんとお届けする、という約束です。

After the campaign ends, you'll receive an email from Kickstarter with a link to the Pledge Manager, a survey page where you enter your address. Backers outside Japan also pay their shipping fee there, and Ultimate All-In backers enter their name credit. Please complete it before the deadline; we can't ship your reward until it is done.

Japan shipping (¥600) is included in every pledge. For backers outside Japan, that amount is deducted from the international shipping fee, which is charged through the Pledge Manager, you only pay the difference.

Domestic (Japan): We plan to ship via Letter Pack Plus. For larger bundles, such as tiers that include the tarot cloth, art book, or other goods, we'll use Sagawa Express or Japan Post's parcel delivery service.

Estimated international shipping charged through the Pledge Manager (the ¥600 of Japan shipping already included in your pledge has been deducted). Estimates include packaging costs. Final amounts depend on carrier rates and package weight at the time of shipping. Add-ons increase package weight, and their shipping is added in the Pledge Manager. International: We'll use Japan Post's International Air Packet, or another suitable service such as registered small packet. If Japan Post has temporarily suspended service to your country, we'll reach out individually. Shipping fees include packaging costs. Packages over 2 kg will ship via EMS or another suitable service.
All decks and rewards are packed and shipped by hand, by me and my family. If the number of backers exceeds our expectations, shipping may take longer. Thank you for your understanding.

On taxes and customs duties for international shipments: This project ships from Japan. Depending on where you live, Kickstarter's Pledge Manager may calculate and collect VAT or sales tax at checkout. Import duties and other local fees are not collected by Kickstarter. Rules and rates differ by country and may change before shipping. We will do our best to keep costs low and to deliver to you as smoothly as possible. Depending on your country, these may be charged by the carrier or customs on delivery or, where prepayment is required, added to your shipping fee in the Pledge Manager. If anything changes significantly, we will let you know before shipping.
