Zoo Tycoon : The Board Game - Dinosaur Digs est un nouveau jeu de société autonome qui se déroule dans l'univers de Zoo Tycoon. Dans cette simulation de parc à dinosaures très thématique, chaque joueur construit son propre parc à dinosaures devant lui et doit veiller au bien-être des animaux, aux recettes, à la popularité, à la recherche scientifique et au niveau de danger. Dinosaur Digs reprend des mécanismes familiers tels que la collection de séries, le placement d’ouvriers et le placement de tuiles, tout en introduisant des mécanismes totalement inédits. La partie se déroule sur plusieurs années (tours), au cours desquelles les joueurs effectuent différentes actions en fonction de la saison. Les joueurs élèvent des dinosaures en laboratoire, obtiennent de nouveaux dinosaures ou fossiles sur divers sites de fouilles, agrandissent leur zoo avec de nouveaux enclos et bâtiments, renforcent la sécurité de leurs clôtures et doivent toujours surveiller leurs finances. Présentation de la campagne

In Zoo Tycoon: The Board Game - Dinosaur Digs, 1-4 players compete to build the most recognized dinosaur zoo in the city. In this strategic and deeply thematic board game, each player has the freedom to develop their own zoo in which each dinosaur species feels unique and plays distinctly differently 🦖🦕

Help us make these fantastic game a reality and secure the Kickstarter exclusive deluxe versions. This is your dinosaur zoo in a box!

All components shown are photographed (not 3D animated) and thus already exist. There may still be some changes (e.g. stretch goals), but in principle the expansion and its components will look like this in their final form. Especially the meeples will have exactly this accuracy (lasered, not stamped) and color intensity.

Important: As in the first KS campaign for Zoo Tycoon: The Board Game, retailers who support the campaign can only buy standard copies of the base game and the expansion. These copies include everything (Stretch Goals, etc.), but the meeples have no silkscreen print (= The deluxe versions are not available for retail). We only make exceptions for retailers from countries to which there is no shipping option in this campaign.

Here you can see a short overview of the shipping costs for all pledge levels (CHF 1.00 equals approximately $1.10). We have placed much effort into finding options to send Zoo Tycoon: The Board Game and the expansion New Shores (together ~7-8kg/15-17.5lbs) to your home at a fair price. For this reason, most shipping prices are also subsidized, i.e. a significant part of the costs is covered by us like in our previous campaigns. You can trust us, we do not want to earn a single CHF with the shipping costs. (expected start of fulfillment: April 2025)

Side note: You don't have to add these shipping prices on top of your pledge, Kickstarter will automatically do this for you.

We will most probably work with these 5 fulfillment companies again (Switzerland will be sent by us). However, if we find better offers from other fulfillment centers in 2025 that would benefit both you and us, we will certainly take advantage of them.

In our previous 8 Kickstarter campaigns we never had to adjust the shipping prices after the campaign was finished (despite e.g. Covid and the war in Ukraine), even if we had to pay up to 10k ourselves. The fact that we already "collect" the shipping costs of this campaign now is certainly a risk (for us), but it is also fairer to you as backers, because you already know the total amount. In the case that the world would go completely off the rails, we would allow ourselves to collect up to a maximum of 5 CHF shipping additionally (in the Pledge Manager). We would never take more than 5 CHF, this we can promise you! And even these 5 CHF are an absolute emergency solution which we would only resort to if all else fails. As I said, this has never happened and we do everything to keep it that way!

Marc and Samuel - both co-founders of Treeceratops - have been friends for ages, so they have stopped counting the years. They know and appreciate each other very well. Their different skills complement each other perfectly. Marc has a Master‘s degree in Business Administration (University of Zurich) with an avocation for design, drawing and art. Samuel has a Master‘s degree in Microbiology and Immunology (ETH Zurich) and is a big fan of everything that is a bit geeky. Beyond their friendship, the two are also connected by their love for nature and natural science.

This campaign is Marc and Samuel‘s twelfth Kickstarter campaign. Those who have followed the first eleven campaigns know that Samuel and Marc work tirelessly for their projects and put all their heart and passion into them. Reliability, transparent communication and sustainability are their central values on Kickstarter.
